Might have to use the Saints pick with the lack of pass rushers available. Roquan Smith at 1 and Okoronkwo in the 2nd? I'll take it. I'd like him in the 3rd, but no need to wait like 10 picks if you know he is the guy you want. There still should be good guard prospects available where we pick in the 3rd round.

Been thinking about this scenario too.

1. Roquan Smith
2. Nwosu or Okoronkwo
3. Guard
3. CB or WR
Don't play with my emotions, guys.

Roquan and Obo

Still my favorite edge rusher in the draft. Probably would be a pass rush specialist until the 49ers put him on the "eat a steak, take a steak home" plan, but he's got great getoff, good bend, and some of the most active hands in the draft. He strings counters to his moves, he threatens inside/out; he sets up moves within a snap, and from one snap to the next. He gets the chess match. He has crazy leverage with his short height and long arms. He is more than athletic enough to cover the flat as a SAM, and his hands are violent enough to set the edge, especially once he gains 5-15 pounds.

WANT.

Seriously, If we don't get Landry (or even if we do ), I'm screaming nonstop at the TV at every Niners pick until they select Obo. If we don't get either of them, I'm driving down to 4949 Centennial and eating a live kitten in front of ShanaLynch to show them the cost of their mistake.

I like good edge rushers.
Hell yeah!

And since we're on the topic of 3-cone today on the WZ:

Best edge player in the entire draft. 5 years from now teams will be kicking themselves for passing on him just because he doesn't look the part.
