Bradley Chubb DE North Carolina State

I'm guessing that is because Chubb has about 20 lbs on him, but that leads me to my question; would we want a bigger Chubb(no pun intended), or a faster Landry?

I think we need a Landry more than a Chubb but i have serious questions about his ability in the run game

What about Chubb dropping weight?

I think we just need a consistent pass rusher, I don't honestly care whether the guy does it with speed or power. I do think Chubb is the more well rounded player but Landry does that have speed rush you like to see. Downside with speed rushers is they can go hot/cold and it's kind of feast or famine.

I'm curious to see how both guys do at the combine and how Landry looks at the senior bowl. If we had to pick one or the other at our current pick then I'm taking Chubb. But if you're giving me an option of taking Chubb or trading down and taking Landry then I'm going with the later.
Unless a guy is being touted like Myles Garrett was (obvious talent etc) I cannot see us drafting D-line again.

Big dude (6-4, 275) with some speed & power. 10 sacks last year.

He got 3 sacks against Notre Dame & a great OL, but it was pouring rain that day.

Not sure what to think of him yet.

Has multiple children already at the age of 21 (I think he's 21), so take that for what it's worth.

what's having kids have to do with his play? Sounds like he's a Stud on and off the field. Lol

Sounds like a character. Dancing and towel stealing. Still, he gets to the QB.

He looked disruptive against the NFL caliber left side of Notre Dame's o-line. Mostly McGlinchey.

He whip out his dick and jerk off in front of his teammates? If so sign him up as our next Charles Haley

Hahaha...maybe I described that horribly, my bad.
He was stealing the towel the Clemson QB used to dry of his ball....
Nope, that's not right either.

Just watch the video, no dicks involved, just one Chubb.

Very early in my evaluation, but I am going to have a VERY high grade on Chubb (shocked if it is not top 5). Super high football intelligence; stud in run defense along with solid all-around pass rush moves; non-stop motor, and pretty good dropping in coverage.

He is a taller, more athletic version of Brandon Graham. I'll go to war with this guy any day. Super excited to follow his career in the NFL.

Going to be a top 10 pick for sure, maybe cracking the top 5.

ok but would he be a great fit for the 49ers in your opinion? If he can be a 8-10 sack guy at Leo then the Niners should absolutely take him. Then, trade for Armstead for a draft pick, and have a starting lineup of Thomas-Mitchell-Buckner-Chubb.

Having said that I would still try to trade down a couple of spots and grab Chubb, Nelson, Smith, or Fitzpatrick. All would be immediate starters and probably difference makers.

If we took Chubb that would guarantee Thomas&Buck playing the 3T/LE spot in base.

Get a pass rushing SAM that can slide to DE in nickel and were in business. Wed still have Elvis and Marsh too.

Does it? I would think the line would look like:

Base
Chubb / Mitchell / Buck / Thomas
Nickel
Chubb / Buck / Thomas / ?

Draft Chubb and sign a pro-bowl caliber CB, and we're on a fast track to having a Jacksonville-level Defense.
As of right now, he is my highest graded defensive player in the draft.

Good, that means he will go top 5
