I wasn't all that impressed with Kizer' s performance personally. Though I admit I only watched about the 1st half of his throws.

The sad part is we could have snatched him in the 2nd while still getting Thomas and Foster. The dude moves like Peyton Manning in the pocket.

Also from PFF today:

DeShone Kizer was the star of the rookie quarterbacks under pressure, passing for 126 yards and a touchdown when facing heat in the pocket, giving him a 129.2 passer rating. He was the only rookie quarterback to have a passer rating over 100.0 when pressured, and he was pressured 13 times on 23 dropbacks.

Kizer had a 114.12 QB rating for the game....Beathard on the other hand had a 132.95 QB rating that doesn't get covered because it doesn't fit PFF's dialog of only counting guys drafted in the first two rounds

Too bad QB rating is a joke.

So is PFF

You should also stop posting QB ratings to make your case if you truly don't believe in them

Notice though that the quote I posted from them involves passer rating and NOT QB rating. The former being the true stat and the latter being the crap made up by ESPN.

ESPN is QBR...I'm using one of many QB Rating (or as you like to call passer rating) calculators available online.

Passer rating is the true stat that matters for a QB. Whatever you're using is wrong.

No thanks, I'll stick to passer rating only.

Even Kap had a QB rating close to Rodgers for his career, passer rating though, not even close.......
Sorry, we only use passer rating here because qb rating doesn't fit his narrative

Quite a good performance by both Kizer and Beathard. Trubisky did't look too bad either. Very very early days to have any regrets. Interested to see how all the QBs this year develop

Trubisky was waggling out on all his throes. He had 1-2 options. Dudes gonna crash and burn.
