I got chills right now looking at our first round and realizing we walked away with thomas, foster, and two extra thirds. Someone tells you that will happen before the draft you laugh in there face.

i just pray Bowman can stay healthy and form a fearsome tandem with Foster. He even provides some insurance if Bowman just can't stay on the field anymore.

Yup, that and the character stuff is cause for concern, but the talent was too much to pass up at that point.
He was probably so high up on our board compared to the next guy that we needed to do it.
Exactly. Love, love, love the move up to get him. That defense is now coming together nicely, at least on paper. We improved tremendously with Thomas and Foster imo.
