Ha! Mine was the other way around actually, I was watching Hooker and McMillan kept making plays! I didn't like the missed tackle of Gallman against Clemson, but otherwise think he's a good player, solid 3rd Rounder. Not sure he's for us though, would be a great TED in a 3-4, think he'd project as SAM for us, but I'd like one with more pass rush

McMillan played better as the year went along, that is for sure. Although he doesn't have great pass rushing skills, his hit in the Michigan game that caused a pick 6 with Hooker saved the season for OSU.

Malik Hooker distracting me from watching McMillan tape. The kid is crazy good.

What are some things (spefically, in general...) that pop out to you?
He covers so much ground, closes faster than anyone in the draft, and makes plays, big plays, especially when the team needs it.

So true, did you see the pick 6 he would have had vs Clemson were it not for a great leaping bat down by the edge rusher?

Amazing read and jump on the ball (it's also one of the main reasons I don't want Watson)
It is always important to not have prejudices when examining players. Stamped a mediocre grade on Zach Cunningham last year, and didn't really treat him fair going into this eval. What I see today is a really improved backer who has shored up many of his weaknesses. This is a really tremendous player that will be way up in my next Best 50 board. Being overlooked by many in this process. Really showed what he can do against a Pro Style offense when matched up against Georgia this year.
Fabian Moreau: I really like the kid, but 17 overall is rich! I think he would fit great for the new cover 3 defense the 9ers are moving to, but doesn't fit every defense.

He is still learning the position, and seems to be aloof at times. He measurables are outstanding, but it's more projecton than production at this poit. Why so high? I was seeing him more as a late 2nd round pick at best.
^ he might in fact be a second round pick. This board isn't "who gets drafted where". This board is "who is going to have the best NFL career."

Yeah I personally hate that. I think its a bit of a cop out. To many variables to even try to predict how players careers will turn out.

Just make a mock draft like normal people. Then we have something to compare it to immediately.

What good is a list that takes 4 years to come to fruition? In 4 years I certainly won't remember any list.

Samething, not a mock...

Im not knocking him I actually know for a fact he knows his s**t. I just don't like the list format of who is better than who. Its all subjective.

Mocks are kind of pointless because of trades. Big Boards are great. They give you a sense of where a guy is going to be picked. I see it as a "value" board. This board is a best Board. I see it as a "talent board".

As for how good a talent board is, it certainly is subjective. It's MDs opinion. That's it and I really enjoy it.

I like mocks because it shows a broad spectrum of NFL and team needs knowledge. If you don't know about the NFL then how do you know how good they will be in the NFL? Kinda an oxymoron.

MadDog no offense, I think you are great.

I liked how you had Jarrad Davis as your top ranked ILB on this board, how close do you see Cunningham now after review. Massive Davis fan BTW!
