Kareem Hunt RB Toledo

Most important part of that clip is how quick he reads the cutback lane on the inside zone. There's a fine balance between patience and decisiveness that zone runners need to succeed. Kareem has it.

Atlanta worked him out for the same reasons likely, insurance in case Freeman is too pricy to re-sign.

I want Kareem to be a 49er, so I would okay if we have to use our third-round pick to get him. I don't think he lasts much longer after that.

Getting this kid would make me so happy. Trade down Lynch. Do it.

He has a mean L1 button

I keep telling Fournette supporters he's not the kind of RB Shanahan wants...Kareem Hunt is. He's one of a group I like a lot that would be great additions to our backfield. Between Hunt, Hill, McCaffrey, McNichols, I would be stoked with JL drafting any one of 'em. I also like the kid from UTEP, Aaron Jones. Complete back, does everything well and is very durable. I've liked Hunt since the first time I saw him...slashing runner with excellent hands. Just what Shanahan wants and will likely get.
After watching his highlights, he sort of reminds me of Frank Gore(last few years version).

He keeps his pad level low, good shiftiness, patient behind blockers and good at finding creases to run through. Once out in the open though, he doesn't have the break away speed to take it home.
He doesn't drop passes, makes people miss tackles and doesn't fumble. Stud!
He'd fit like a glove
I just hope we can get him in the 4th. Our earlier picks are so precious lol.

He reminds me of gore a little bit in the box with the power and quick moves to make people miss. Unfortunately so does his top end speed.

We probably gotta trade up with our fourth to later third round from the projected whispers. Praying a 6th&7th can get us up some, could be just enough. I wanna hold onto our fifths if possible.

Hopefully he's the Kendall Hunter type back that we can enjoy for 10 years with this go around.

This kid will be our RB next yr...calling it

Fits the scheme, super productive, and can catch. I think we're looking at a 3rd rd pick.

I reeeeaally liked Kendall Hunter. I don't know if teams have long-term number 2 backs, but he could've still been here.

If we use our two 6ths&a 7th we can get up 10-15 spots packaged with our 4th. If we can I rather not use our 3rd.
