Agree, if Garrett goes #1, will be an interesting decision whether to go with Solomon or Foster. Would be happy with either of these two. My choice would be Foster in RD1 and Harris in RD2.

My choice would be Foster. Thomas is a great football player, but not a great edge rusher. He does his damage on the inside, and I think we are more than full right now with interior defenders. I see both AA and Buckner inside on third downs so it doesn't make sense to put another body inside. Garrett is the best fit, since we need a stud edge rusher, but Foster is so good that either would be a good option.

Solomon Thomas, the Stanford DE, is getting more buzz here than I've seen or read. NFL personnel guys put him in convo w/ Garrett/Allen.

Yep, Im convinced he is our pick at #2 after he murders the combine.

This this x 49
If Garrett is gone and we decide not to draft a QB, he's my choice.
We have to create a sense that we are going with a QB so the bears, Jets and bills will bite on a trade back. I think 9ers will trade back and grab a couple more picks, grab Foster or Thomas then trade back up into the late first for Mahomes.

6-25 273 33 inch arms 9 3/8 inch hands. 4.69 40 1.66 10 yard Split. 30 Reps at 225.

My new favorite for #2 if we don't land Garrett.

Solomon Thomas is your #2, but you wouldn't trade anything to get Garrett?

Garrett is 6'4.5 272 35 1/4 inch arms 10 1/4 inch hand 4.64 40 41" vertical and 33 reps at 225 (with much longer arms). He's just as big and strong, but longer and more athletic with way more flexibility. I'd be a lot happier with Garrett than Thomas even if it costs us a 2nd round pick.

Garrett is a one trick pony. Thomas is a Dominant football player not just a pass rusher. Two completely different animals.

Cleveland would take the top 1/3 of our draft picks to move up one spot. I doubt they just take a 2nd rounder. If they want him fine if they don't I'll be ecstatic. We need talent and bodies, we are not one player away from being successful.

As much as I like Garett and see him as the best player in this draft I still think quantity with quality is more important at this point than the best individual in this draft.

Would you see Foster at the SAM, MIKE or WILL?

People need to stop acting like everything Baalke did was suddenly horrible. Buckner was a Baalke pick too and by he appears to have the potential to be a very good player for a long time.

Overall I think we could look back on the 2015 draft a few years from now as having been a pretty good draft overall.

Seriously...and if some of these young players get healthy and are utilized right and grow into the WCO and 4-3 under, who knows what we REALLY have here.

Its just too bad that Baalke took Armstead instead of Marcus Peters. Solomon Thomas or Jonathan Allen would be a no brainer if that was the case with Buckner moving outside to LDE.
