Agree, if Garrett goes #1, will be an interesting decision whether to go with Solomon or Foster. Would be happy with either of these two. My choice would be Foster in RD1 and Harris in RD2.

Solomon Thomas, the Stanford DE, is getting more buzz here than I've seen or read. NFL personnel guys put him in convo w/ Garrett/Allen.

My new favorite for #2 if we don't land Garrett.

Garrett is 6'4.5 272 35 1/4 inch arms 10 1/4 inch hand 4.64 40 41" vertical and 33 reps at 225 (with much longer arms). He's just as big and strong, but longer and more athletic with way more flexibility. I'd be a lot happier with Garrett than Thomas even if it costs us a 2nd round pick.

Originally posted by MadDog49er:My choice would be Foster. Thomas is a great football player, but not a great edge rusher. He does his damage on the inside, and I think we are more than full right now with interior defenders. I see both AA and Buckner inside on third downs so it doesn't make sense to put another body inside. Garrett is the best fit, since we need a stud edge rusher, but Foster is so good that either would be a good option.

People need to stop acting like everything Baalke did was suddenly horrible. Buckner was a Baalke pick too and by he appears to have the potential to be a very good player for a long time.
Overall I think we could look back on the 2015 draft a few years from now as having been a pretty good draft overall.

Seriously...and if some of these young players get healthy and are utilized right and grow into the WCO and 4-3 under, who knows what we REALLY have here.
