to me while he was on the field he looked like a franchise quarterback.. his numbers were actually slightly better then Tom BBrady's are. He makes good decisions has a quick release and is very accurate. yes teams have been duped with Matt cassle andv Matt Flynn but he looks like the real deal. I'd give up a first in a heartbeat

He has major durability questions. He couldn't even stay on the field for Brady's 4 game suspension, much less a 16 game schedule.

you want pass rush, QB, or Wr?
WR-:Alshon Jeffrey, John Ross.
QB-:Jimmy Garaopalo.
pass rush- Devonte Fields,M.Ingram
and you still walk away with the best offensive player in the draft...

he doesn't have durability issues he got hurt once landing on his shoulder that doesn't make him fragile

Like I said, what if the Pats say no?

I don't want a running back that much. We can pick up cover for Hyde on day 3,.

ah ha I missed that... well that question would be answered before the draft. I'd try to work it as first order of business so if they say no you would know you'd have to take different steps during the draft. I'd probably bring back Kaep and sign another vet and draft a devodevelopmentaĺ player like Chad Kelly.. second vet would be a guy like Jay Cutler or i think Tyrod Taylor would be exceptional in Kelly's Offensive scheme

Kind of ok till you said Tyrod Taylor. Really don't want him. Don't ask me why, just don't.

Tyrod was like option 3-4.. he will probably be in buffalo still ananyway.. I just believe this track would get us relevant the quickest.rather then taking a quarterback most aren't all in on..
I'd trade our first pick this year to NE for their first rounders this year and next year and Garappolo.

With the 32nd and 34th this year we would have plenty of ammo to move back up into the first to land a top WR or ILB. And we'd give our new GM a couple of first rounders next year to play with.

Fournette is destined to spend a lot of time on the IRL...he has a chronic bad ankle. No need to spend a 1st rd pick on a RB...there are a bunch of excellent players available. McCaffrey, Kamara, Foreman, Gallman & Perrine to name just a few. If our GM's going to trade down, he should do so only if there's a veritable king's ransom in it....and if the Browns take their #1 pick it could be a goldmine.

As for Garappolo, he really hasn't proven much yet...winning a few games with the Pats is an incomplete resume, especially given how good their overall team is. I don't see the real value in giving up a 1st rd pick and the others that might be gained by trading down. I'd draft the best QB available and give up nothing. Assuming Baalke's fired, our new GM has to garner as many good players as he can...there are a ton of needs. He'll need to sign some quality FA's to augment and lead the draftees.

I read the ankle thing once in a single article I just don't know if ther is any truth to it.. it'll come out on the way to draft day one way or the other.. and yes there are other backs but none on the level of Fournette. he could be generational talent if medical is clear.. I honestly believe that a team will give fair value to move up for Trubisky when the time comes. I also disagree on your Jimmy g view I saw a pro bowl caliber quarterback on the field. it's not his fault he has a good team around him

Why do you assume Jimmy G is even available? Tom Brady is getting up there in age. Maybe the Pats make the hard decision in 2 years. Maybe Tom Brady just decides he's had enough.

I would hypnotize / brainwash the owners into selling the team to a competent, football minded owner who is passionate about winning as much as Eddie D was...

I'd assume Jimmy is available because he's entering his 4th year on a 4 year rookie deal so unless Brady is done after next year he's gone and at most they get a 3rd round comp pick for him... it doesn't look like they would have the cap room to franchise him.... so yeah why wouldn't he be available? ?
