The plan 2

2- You are leaving value on the table in your trade down. While you likely won't get the same deal as Cleveland did given Tennessee is not moving up for a QB (they got 2 1sts, a 2nd, a 3rd and a 4th and gave up a future 4th), your trade adds up to less than chart value.

Also who would Tennessee be moving up for ?

3-Why are you drafting a punter ? Pinion is in year 2, has improved from his rookie year and has not been bad by any stretch.

Tennessee could be going up for a war or pass rusher
Why draft a punter? Competition and Johnston has a huge leg. Draft Johnston and maybe trade pinion for a 6th. Adds 2 more years on the punters contract.

If you want to add competition to your 2nd year punter who has shown growth you can do that by bringing in a FA or UDFA.

There is no pass rusher worth moving up for after Garrett. And Tennessee actually does not possess a 2nd round pick in this years draft as they traded it to Cleveland to move up for Conklin. They have needs at WR, CB, ILB, OLB and S.
Pryor and Perry will command a lot of money, probably double the amount you have laid down.

Mitch won't fall to the second round (would be a dream scenario), and Butt probably goes in the second round.

I do love the Alvin Kamara pick. He and Elijah McGuire are my two favorite RB prospects this year.
Signing FAs is not the Niner Way.

Drafting LBs and WRs also not the Niner Way.

Should have injury report on draft picks to make sure we are getting value by drafting injury cases.

Yes, releasing players saves more salary money for Jed!!

Or not.
If we got Pryor that would be a major player for Kelly's offense for sure
