It's going to be Mayfield and he earned it breaking the rookie TD record while nearly leading a winless team last year to the playoffs despite not starting the first few games of the season.

Mayfield played great for a rookie. Nelson was flat out the best guard in the NFL as a rookie. He played better than even the most optimistic of us around here expected.

Truth!

Watching him go to war w/Clowney was great!

why would we sign clowney after paying ford, and drafting bosa? if were adding more pass rushers itll be in the draft. you can never have enough but not when youre using a quarter of your cap on the dline

One day when I'm an old man, I'll tell kids about the legend of the greatest guard prospect of all time.
Dude is a bad ass to bad guards aren't important. 😀

Lol yes. They said they took hard hits out of football but they just didn't think to look at o linemen omg that gets you ejected at safety
I really wanted him that year, but McGlinchy was a good consolation prize. Having a tackle that can pass protect is more important than having a dominant guard.

This. The team made the right call, even though it was the least sexy pick available.

Didn't T Brown pass protect pretty well?

especially if T-Moore ends up being our long term FS. (He was the pick we got for fat Trent)
