Should we "Tank" the season for the 1st draftpick

Whether you to tank or not, the player don't want to and will never give in to that thought. They're being paid to do their jobs and are playing to keep them. No matter the result. So this thread is really a moot point.

Agree

But, IMO, this is just a frustration release thread.

That said, I really want us to have the #1 or #2 pick.

I said it weeks ago, we won't need to "tank", a top five pick will come naturally because we have so many holes on this team.

There are pieces here on the DL, in the secondary, on the OL, but we are extremely thin.

Baalke deserves the blame for this situation because of his failed draft strategy and foresight, and no coherent systemic organizational strategy.

We don't need to tank, it'll just happen naturally.
I love how you make it seem like we have a choice, we're so awful we may not even win another game despite coming out playing hard. we weren't very good with Bowman out there now without him our defense is laughable, I think we get a top 3 pick.
So is there a big drop off after three at this moment if nothing too dramatic occurs?
Won't need to "tank" but I want it at this point. Either Myles Garrett or a QB. Fill one of the two most important positions for the long term (we hope).

If Baalke is making the pick, it will be Garrett in that scenario. And I'd be fine with it. If Gamble is making the pick, it will probably be QB in that scenario....and I'd be fine with that too. We may find ourselves in a no lose situation after a season full of losses

Yeah, but the two projected top QB's are very underwhelming. I'd like to see us come away with Garrett if we don't go QB.

idk wtf I was thinking when I predicted a 4 win season. what a homer.
I don't think we have a choice in the matter. We do not have the talent to compete this season. Will we end up with the 1st pick? Maybe. Every team lucks into a couple wins each season and we do play the Bears and Dolphins. This team is just terrible.

2nd pick, tops. Looks like the browns will go 0-16.
