Couldn't agree more! I'd be more than happy to leave this draft with like 5 impact players rather than 10 plus players

Couldn't agree more! I'd be more than happy to leave this draft with like 5 impact players rather than 10 plus players
I'd really like to see us try to get back into the 1st.

Mallett sucked while with New England, Cassel had one good season throwing to Randy Moss and Wes Welker, went to KC and had a pretty good year and then fell off the map.
Garoppolo is a better talent than any of them by far.
Look just sayin tha guy aint a QB god so dont put so much into him and dont throw alot draft picks at tha pats for him given then a 5th round this yr a 2nd next yr and swap 2nd round picks this yr...

I was thinking about this exact same sentiment! We have allocated majority of our draft picks on defense and it's time to allocate our future resources on offense. If we get an impact NT, ILB, and a secondary player in free agency and hit on Garrett with the 2nd pick, then this team needs to trade back into the first round to draft their FQB.

I'm beginning to think more and more that Trubisky WILL be the pick when the 9ers had in the card. It makes perfect sense IMO, Cleveland will have two 1st round picks, the first one they take Garrett and the second 1st they select the best available QB most possibly or likely, Watson. Yes I know you can tell me, "Duh, seen that coming from a mile away", but keep in mind when the off season starts and prospects start moving up and down draft boards and you're mind starts thinking this or that player (because it happens every year), this will be the answer all along I believe.

Trubisky reminds me of Blake Bortles. I like him, but like both Watson and Kizer more. I think I'd even take Mahomes instead because he can be had later. #2 is just too high for this kid imo. His hands look small too

I think that was his point. I don't agree, for the most part, but I'm also concerned about hand size.

We have enough role players and fringe starters. We need impact players. We need to trade the lower picks to move up in the day two rounds.
I agree we need to use FA to get defensive starters. Then target offense in the draft to allow all the play makers to grow together, hopefully in Kyle's offense.
Turbisky should be the pick at 2 and should keep developing into our QB stud. We need to trade back into the 1st to get Corey Davis WR.
I'd love to see us trade back into the 2nd to get McCaffrey RB if he's still there. Then TE Sparke in the 4th.

I have Kizer creeping by Trubisky. I like both prospects a lot though. Watson way down on my board.
