For what it's worth this college scouting service I use that ranks prospects so far (pre combine) has mitch as their highest rated qb since Jimmy G, who btw was the highest rated qb since luck.
Guy has been pretty damn on point with regards to qbs. Doesn't think any other qbs are worth top picks

But, where is Cardale Jones now? Arm strength isn't everything.
He was a rookie last year. With Tyrod Taylor leaving I assume he'll get every chance to start over whatever rookie they draft.

UNC QB Mitch Trubisky told MMQB that he's a big Browns fan.
He's not just lobbying to get taken No. 1 (or 12) overall. The Mentor (Ohio) High School alum is "a bit of a legend in Northeast Ohio," according to Emily Kaplan, and also a big fan of his hometown team. "I root for Cleveland everything," Trubisky said. "I love where I'm from. No matter what, everyone still believes in the Browns and that's so cool. It's different being from there. Nobody knows why we love Cleveland so much unless you're from there."

Damn. They would almost be foolish not to take someone who actually wants to be there.

OR is it his faulthonestly his really only horrible play that whole game was the pick 6, horrible read totally stared down his WR.
They lost by 2...that pick 6 was the difference....

Maybe with their 2nd first round pick but they would be foolish to pass on Garrett.

Once again you just point out one thing to prove your point and don't look at all the other factors.... like lost players (backup OL no Hood) dropped balls and piss poor blocking WHICH was the reason for not getting that 2-pt conversion.

Yeah Myles is a stud I don't see how they can pass on him...wouldn't hate it though

I hear you, but I don't think Trubisky is there for them at 12. Maybe they try to move back up to 2 to grab him?

Yeah I would love this new Browns management to act like the old Browns management but I just don't want to get my hopes up.

Put his team in the hole...tried to bring them back but couldn't....it's that simple....
When you consider his limited resume he needed to win this game bad to justify his lack of experience....

Its football not a complicated equation...
Look at last night, Brady put his team in the hole and had to bring them back and he did....that's the difference...
End results matter...everything else is either an excuse or praise.....

Yup Brady caught that edelman ball, he created that fumble for the easy score, he was playing cover 3 allowing james white to run free...that's your problem you don't add context to a game.

Context doesn't favor Mitch in that game either.
honestly his really only horrible play that whole game was the pick 6, horrible read totally stared down his WR.
