Patrick Mahomes QB

To me he is the most interesting prospect at any position not the best but very interesting. He's fun to watch. If Kyle took him I'd be very happy to watch him develop. He is a developmental qb.
From what I've watched I agree with most of what this guy says. I do think Trubisky is the better prospect. For those who would rather hear a breakdown

I thought Mahomes was closer to 6'2 than 6'4. This guy seems to think he's 6'3.5 or 6'4 which is one of the reasons he has Mahomes ranked as the #1 QB ahead of Kizer.

The fact (if it is a fact) that some teams have Mahomes as the #1 QB says a lot about the top QBs in the class. None of them are worth the #2 pick. Mahomes is way too raw to go #2 overall, Trubisky may only be 6'1, Watson doesn't have an elite arm, and Kizer is inconsistent. I would love to get one of these guys to develop in the late first/with our 2nd round pick. Hopefully someone likes Jonathan Allen/Solomon Thomas so we can trade back from #2...

I think Trubisky is the better prospect but I'd rather not draft either at 2.

Someone please tell me how he's better than Kap? Look really similar

Kaep seems like a pretty fair comparison coming out of college. The ball just seems to jump out of his hands effortlessly.. Kaep looks like he's throwing knuckle balls on touch throws.
I like this guy, he's my first choice of all the qbs coming out this year.

I know people don't like those Air Raid QBs, but this guy really has a knack for seeing the whole field. And obviously the arm strength is fantastic. But what he as to me that puts him ahead of Trubisky is his guts. He seems to have no fear. And he throws timing routes surprisingly well, so I don't think this will be a problem at all.

Where have we heard that before

That's not true at all...both have cannon arms but IMO reading defense isn't either's thing. I've watch Mahomes miss on easy plays far too much and running around scrambling when there's no need.

Enough of these damn spread/aid raid QB's.

We're running the WCO now people! Let these other teams fail on their Kaepernick II/RGIV's. We're now looking for the polar opposite type of QB.

After the debacle that Kyle personally witnessed/experienced with RGIII and Manziel, why would anyone assume he'd be looking for a similar-mold QB now that HE finally has control over the QB-pick?

Who knows If we can't make a realistic trade for JG then just draft Peterman in the 3rd (if Kyle doesn't like the top guys). Grab some bridge type QB this yr and go all in on Kirk in 2018 or someone like Rosen.

Right? Who knows; that's an understatement and you even brought up 2018 which Kyle/Lynch will be thinking about as well. So much to digest. For now, I'm focused on "best fits for the WCO," reviewing his criteria for QB's overall (check the boxes) and focused on his past experiences (with athletic QB's vs. more prototypical-types in his offense); I think when you say, "WWKD?" it becomes a bit more clear. Then again, this is the first time he'll have full control so he could end up blowing all our minds. LOL
It's funny when people say "air raid QBs" like it's some awful thing. Like OMG there is too much film on him throwing the ball. the numbers change so much in each conference that the film itself is what's important.

TBH he probably should've taken a sack.
