I think he's going to be good, needs a year at least to sit and learn a non-spread offense though.

I really don't like his value earlier then the third maybe late late second. he does have some tools I'll give him that, but if you are a draft prospect you usually do. I doubt he will succeed at the next level

Oh boy.....well Mike McGlinchy is staying another yr same with Rudolph, Pryor has already told his agent he wants to stay in Cleveland. Short is a 4-3 DE and we have youth at OL OH and we have two TEs that signed extensions...this would be one of the worst off seasons outside of getting Caserio and McDaniels

Okay so sub Pryor with say Britt. And no Shortt is a DT in a 4-3. Celek can suck it, solid TE but Howard is more explosive and he can have time to learn the NFL ropes. Yeah it's not great, just playing along. I wanna sign Britt and Benett, unless we're getting a big body receiver in the draft then Terrance Williams/Garçon will work as well.

Bennett said today he loves playing in NE and is looking to resign...we have sooooo many other bigger issues than TE and this draft is stocked with them no reason to go TE in the 2nd IMO.

I'd love garçon dude is a football players. I'll pass on Britt dude has had one healthy season I believe I can't give someone cash with his health issues.

If fans have patience, he can be a nice pick. By year 3 you will have a nice starter on your hands.

Now, in the event that we do not trade for JG, do we hope he falls to pick 34 or trade up, at least ahead of Arizona to ensure we get our guy?

There is a lot to like, but it kind of feels like the 2011 draft redux when we took Kap. What will do it for me is his interviews and chalkboard work as opposed to the Combine performance (though it is important).

hes really raw

he will need more than a year - i dont think hes a fit for us makes more sense to a team like giants/cardinals etc teams that wiill need a qb 2-3 years from now

I like him as a 3rd rounder or later

That's probably the earliest I would take him realistically. I'd want another immediate playmaker at 34 with next year being a better year for QBs and me not expecting us to do too much during the season.

Since its looks like we will be cleaning house at the QB position i say to be on the safe side we should take 2 QB's in this years draft 1 in the early rounds N another in the mid rounds if Mahomes is around the 4th or 5th round i would love it if we landed this guy.

You can never have to many young QB prospects. I say drafting just drafting one especially high in the 1st 2 rounds is a big gamble. Look at Washington a few years back when they gave up the farm for RGIII, At least they redeem themselves by selecting Kirk Cousins in the latter part of the draft.

Sign a vet or trade for one N draft 2 QB's N we should be in a better position we were a year ago.
