Guy is the truth
The Niners need to get this dude...saw him play last night vs Toledo and he's got everything you'd want in an NFL WR. His size, speed, strength and "want to" are off the charts. He'd help fill a huge void in our WR corps....and is worth a very high pick to get him.
He's a big part of the reason I like a trade down option.

He's going to end up being the #1 WR draft prospect

Williams and Ross may have injury concerns
Smith-Schuster probably gonna be a headache to deal with

Ive had him as my second round pick for some time, looks like im going to have to adjust
though i dont like mocking trades, a trade back and get him mid first may be the new plan

Was nice to watch the Toledo RB Hunt, He's been a later round mock pick for me as well

Davis likely will go somewhere in that range or higher but obviously there are ways to accomplish getting both him and a quarterback regardless of the order they go in.

Yeah but the main thing I'd hate is if they were to give up next years 1st or 2nd..if Davis drops to say the 25th pick then moving up 10 spots should cost our 2nd 4th and 6th..just please don't touch next years picks..lol

Look at those stats over 4 years

317 receptions
5061 yards
50 touchdowns

Jerry Rice numbers haha
I see him as the top WR in this draft.

Route running, hands, elusiveness, attacking the ball in the air, good size, he is the most complete WR imo, great character and leadership skills too.

Mike Williams willl be drafted ahead of him he brings all of that (maybe not route running) but he's played against top competition...love to move back up for Davis. BPA in the first and then go get this kid!

Also productive and consistent over 4 years, numbers kept going up
I really want this guy on the niners.. He's so precise with his routes and movements and plenty explosive

I think Davis ends up in the 12-20 range. He's the perfect weapon for Chip.

IMO, we desperately need speed at WR and RB for Chip's offense to work. McCoy and Jackson made his offense explosive. We saw Harris add a spark to the offense when Hyde was out. We just need more of that. At WR, we just don't have a homerun threat that can break free when plays break down. Kap extends plays and makes it tough on CBs, but Patton and Torrey haven't been able to capitalize.

Speed, speed, speed is what we need... and Davis. This kid is a stud.

As I posted in the Mike Williams thread. Chip has proven his ability to get mediocre receivers open and Kaepernick's offseason decision could and probably will shuffle the way the 49ers attack and prioritize free agency and the draft. Wide receiver does need to be upgraded badly and I understand that as well. Here are my concerns...

We can speculate right now about whether they will be back but it's important to remember that neither Glenn Dorsey nor Ian Williams are under contract for next season either. Ian may be back for a one year, incentive laden, prove yourself type of deal but what realistically are his expectations with so many injuries the last few years? He's missed more games than he's played in. Dorsey is 31 and the 49ers will probably offer him a contract, maybe even offer him the most money but at his age its a 50/50 shot whether he'll chase the money or potentially another destination with a chance to win quicker. The run defense was almost unwatchable before Dorsey got healthy. If he leaves than we're in trouble all over again right there.

So much will depend on Dorsey and Kaepernick, and what they do. Pass rusher is already a huge need and cannot go unaddressed again this offseason, with so little depth there at the position. With all of that said though, Davis is my favorite receiver prospect right now. I love his overall game, character, and drive and would love to have him. It's going to be interesting to see how the domino's fall this offseason.

Not sure what type of money Dorsey or Williams would be chasing? Both are injury prone big time...I'd expect us to sign one of the two and maybe look at a Bennie Logan/Brandon Williams in FA.

If we can get Myles and move back up (like we did for Joshua Garnett) for Davis that would be a hell of a good first day in the draft
