So we get 4 day 1 starters in Buckner, Docson, Westerman, and Jones

We trade Kap to Denver for a 3rd next year and draft both Dak and Doughty

Ervin becomes our Sproles

Shell provides depth at tackle. Davis coming back is in question

Peake provides another bigger(6'2") fast (4.3 pro day) WR that projects as a nice complement to Docson longterm.

DJ Reader is the backup NT. Dial replaces Williams while he recovers, then back into the DE rotation

Late in the 6th we grab depth at OLB and in the secondary....

Miami traded up in the 2nd round for their 2nd and 4th

Thought you meant we were going to draft a bunch of DBs
I doubt Trent would trade him for just a third next season. I think it will be the third this year with something extra next year if we pay part of Kaps deal.

I just did that to not add a pick to this draft. Reading mid round....
That mock looks like one of the best I've seen.. Wouldn't be mad.
If they trade Kaepernick, they wont be waiting until the 4th round to draft a QB.
Great mock draft.

I love it!
Very solid although I don't think we need to draft two more WRs. We already have 7 on the roster with a few unknowns. I like both of the ones you drafted but would prefer another pass rusher instead of one of them. Overall, great mock!

Got my favorite prospect (Buckner), favorite WR (Doctson), favorite QB (Prescott), favorite late round RB and DT, and adressed OL early

If I said once I'll say it 100 times, Doctson won't make it out of round 1.

Also Keanu Neal will be drafted in day 2. It wouldn't surprise me if he was selected in the first.

He did offer alternates to each pick.
With the Kap circus still going on, who knows what the end result will be. Elway's trying to get Baalke to pay $5M in Kap's salary which is totally absurd. Baalke needs to stand firm, he's got Kap under contract, Elway can go pound sand IMHO. That said, they'll need to draft a QB. I'm not convinced either Goff or Wentz are franchise QB's...they may turn out to be at some point, but I totally agree Buckner's the impact player we need at #7. He's an immediate upgrade on the DL and with Armstead and Dial/Williams would arguably be the best young front 3 in the league. Establishing them would pay so many dividends for the entire defense.

I really don't have anything negative to say about your mock...it's excellent. Only thing I might change is to at least consider Geronimo Allison (Illinois), who also has great size and considerably more experience than Peake. He didn't time as fast as Peake in the 40, but got consistent separation at both the Shrine game and Senior Bowl.
