Other than drafting our QB of the future, this main purpose of this draft is to solidify both sides of the line of scrimmage, and provide depth on both sides of the ball. I see this coming year as a redshirt year for Goff, and time for the offensive line to develop. Additionally, the recent news that Kaep has met with Elway during the last week was the impetus for me including a draft day trade of Denver's third round pick. The below depth chart is not a 53 man.

QB: Gabbert/Goff/Lewis
RB: Hyde/Davis/Ervin/Marshall/Draughn/Harris
FB: Miller
TE: McDonald/Celek/Bell/Anderson

WR: Smelter/Rogers
WR: To. Smith/Ellington
WR: Patton/Lawler

LT: Staley/Brown
LG: Beadles/Thomas/Devey
C: Kilgore/Tuerk
RG: Garnett/Martin/Tiller
RT: Haeg/Brown

LE: Dial/Jones/Dorsey
NT: Williams/Purcell/Ramsey
RE: Armstead/Jerod-Eddie/Kaufusi

OLB: Brooks/Harold/Nicholas
ILB: Bowman/Wilhoite/Smith
ILB: Hodges/Skov
OLB: Lynch/Carradine

CB: Brock/Hall
CB: Johnson/Acker/Reaser
FS: Reid/Ward/Green
SS: Bethea/Tartt/McCray

ST: Dawson, Pinion, Nelson
I like it!
I would do backflips. It's hard for me to see Kaufasi falling that far, but if he does then it's a no-brainer.

The only thing I'd change is landing two RBs. Change Marshall for a WR like Jay Lee and it's perfect.
Very nice. Well balanced draft that addresses multiple needs. Well done!

You are likely correct about Bronson Kaufusi falling to the 5th round. That was a little bit of wishful thinking. Regarding the two running backs, Mike Davis is a big question mark to me and the while we have lots of bodies there that filled in last year, it's a position that is in need of a talent and depth upgrade.

Well said. Need WR, pass rushers, or CB more than two RB's. Still, nice mock.

Bronson won't be there even in the top of 4th RD for Niners, he's going mid to late 3rd RD. Otherwise nice picks.

On the topic of Bronson Kaufusi, if he did end up going in the 3rd round, for the purposes of this mock draft, who do we like better for a 3rd round defensive lineman, Chris Jones or Bronson?

Love the players you went with not sure if some of them are realistic in the slots you have them in though.

I love Chris Jones. He can play in any front and will be a force vs the run. That being said, Kaufasi is kind of a man without a position at the moment, so it would depend on how creative O'Neil gets in using him. Kaufasi would help with the lack of pass rush, Jones would be great depth and more of a run stuffer. He has done pass rush potential, but I feel Kaufasi has him beat there easily right now.

You can make a case for either and I wouldn't be upset with the pick
