kaep will get beat out watch he hasnt offered anything in 2 years why now. he still wont watch film or study. and he cant make a decision let alone a fast one. kaep is the exact opposite of what kelly needs. if you think he is your blind and dont really know football

To be honest, Gabbert has ALREADY beat out Kap. It happened last year. The OP's mock-draft operating out the premise that Gabbert won't beat out Kap...it's just ludicrous.
I'm not a Goff guy, so would go in a different direction: Buckner. With your #1 pick on a team with this many needs, I think you go for BPA and someone who can make in impact right away.

Brothers is a good ILB...but I'd question using my #2 pick on him because Bowman has Hodges to compliment him. Based on what I saw last season, he looks like a real player. I'd agree we need depth at the position, but why use the 2nd rd pick to get it. Pass rusher, OL, WR are considerably bigger needs. Spriggs (OL), Shalique Calhoun (PR) are guys worth drafting there.

I like the Howard and Ridgeway picks a lot. I might still take Ridgeway even if Buckner's the pick in the 1st. Or, since I wouldn't draft Goff, Prescott might be the guy. His game translates to Kelly's offense very well. Also like the Derunnya Willson pick...big WR, and we know Kelly loves big receivers who can run...check.

Overall, I like your mock, but would make a few changes I outlined above.

No offence to you but I've always thought "BPA" is such a cop-out. It requires no analysis. Plus, the "BPA" may very well not be a good fit for your team.

Brothers would definitely beat out Hodges. He did look good, but Brothers is much better.

Ridgeway and Buckner? Humm, that might not be a bad idea given Ian Williams' situation. Those two with Armstead, and what we already have on the D-line would make a murderous unit for the NFL to deal with.

I hope to dear God we don't pass up on Goff, Wentz, or even Paxton for Prescott. This guy is getting really hyped. We need a franchise guy to let Kaep/Gabbert bridge in. By and large, top NFL QB's come out the 1st round.

I don't think it's passing them up for Dak ...if Goff or Wentz are there at 7 no way they pass them up in hopes of getting Dak, but they might very well be gone before they get to us.

I'd rather spend a 3rd on Dak then a 1st on Lynch all day. I don't get what you mean by hyped? Dak has progressed as a QB every season...he's numbers have improved every yr when looking at every QB related stat, while talent around him hasn't improved.

Not bad but I think you will need to flip your 2nd and 3rd round picks. I see Howard going in 2 and brothers in 3.

Howard is a late 2nd, early 3rd. But no way is Brothers getting to the 3rd. Mid 2nd at worst.

We're probadly both wrong! Lol GMs never do what we want them too. Baalke has never took a consensus pick and round 1 and will probadly go small school unknown in round 2.
