How is his shoulder?

Fine. The team that wanted a medical recheck confirmed that he was good to go.
"I met with 22 teams at the Combine," Lawson added. "A lot of teams love me, they love my story, they loved how passionate I was about the game and why I did it. Why I stayed at home, stayed at Clemson for a reason, to make sure I take care of my younger brothers and sisters. When I get drafted they're all going to go with me and that's because I've just been a big brother, been a father figure after my dad got killed in a car accident."

He is a great prospect. I hope he is there at #7 to select. He is better than Bosa.
Sounds like a good dude with solid values. I don't know much about him as a prospect at #7, compared to other guys who may be available.
Count me in as a Lawson fan. Ideally I would want to draft him between 10-15 but would appreciate the pick if he was drafted higher. To me he starts at SAM day one and becomes a 8-10 sack guy who can dominate the edge in the run game as well.
Unless a top guy like Butler or Stanley fall to us, I don't think teams will want to jump to our spot. And if we skip out on either of these two, trade down, and also lose Lawson...that would be horrible.

I think Baalke makes our pick at 7 and moves back up into the middle to late first using some of our later picks, possibly our 2nd.

Stanley, Bosa, Jack, and even Lynch (considering this crazy QB market) are potential players that teams would trade up for. The only players who fit us "ideally" would be Stanley or Buckner if he drops to us.

given that Browns are right behind us I could definitely see someone like the Jets, bears, or bills calling us to move up to snag Lynch. I would put money that if Lynch is still there at #7, it will happen
CBS Sports' Rob Rang compares Clemson edge rusher Shaq Lawson to Bears OLB Pernell McPhee.

The analyst believes that Lawson, who led the country with 24.5 TFL in 2015, may be a fit for the Browns at No. 8. Lawson is talented and productive, and those around him at Clemson rave about his work ethic and personality.
I wouldn't mind Lawson at 7. Much like Aldon was perceived as a reach at first, I think his performance in time will justify a top ten pick.

Sounds like a standout guy. Seems like he was forced to be a grown up when he was young. Cant see a guy like that having a Aldon-like issues

Sounds like Patrick Willis. He'd fit right in here!
If I were to pick two players that I think Baalke will draft in the first round it's either Lawson or Ronnie Stanley.
