trade Kaepernick and pick #7 to Cleveland for Pick 2 (assuming Goff is on the board)

Definitely don't want Goff unless he is still there at 7. He is not a can't miss prospect. He is accurate, above average arm, quick release and decent athlete....how is that different from Bradford who played "okay" in Chip's offense?

He's not gonna cost $20 million or whatever bradford looking to get...he's also not coming off 2 torn ACLs and isn't injury prone.

Got that but Bradford was relatively healthy last year and his strengths are very similar to Goff's strengths and that simply wasn't good enough. I want a more athletic QB for that zone read rushing attack. Bradford was no threat to take off

Every time Bradford got hit I was waiting for him to dislocate his should (which he has issues with)...dude isn't gonna survive in the NFC west couldn't before and isn't gonna again.

Goff at the very least moves around in the pocket and gets the ball out fast. I'm a big fan of wentz as well but in no way do I want part in mr glass...also not sure what you mean by not good enough? chips offense was 12th in the league last year.
Not a chance in hell that Cleveland would trade their #2 pick for our #7 and Kaep. Not unless the Niners seriously sweetened the deal. Cleveland knows the demand for Kaep wont be that great.

Right he's still on a team they're walk a fine line of tampering if they did say they have interest

"The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the Browns are not interested in acquiring Colin Kaepernick "at this time."

At this time

I don't want Bradford either but I'm just pointing out their strengths are very similar. They finished 12th, way better than anything we have seen recently but the worst since Chip has been in the NFL.

I want more athleticism for that zone read to threaten the defense even more. I think Wentz has that but not Goff and I doubt he will be able to withstand the NFC West with that frail body legitimately running that zone read. Everyone knows there is zero defense being played out there on the westcoast in College so we don't have an idea of whether or not Goff can truly take the pounding.

I'd rather stay put, go defense and if an offer comes that knocks our socks off, take it. But Kap has no leverage right now so that offer should be very good for us and I don't think trading up for Goff is it

Trent Baalke, that's your proof.

Unless they told Paraag then I don't think it was Baalke or York.
Kap is better than Goff!
Any teams with potential interests in Kap will walk on eggs 'til the new season starts on Mar 9th...they don't want to be accused of tampering with a player currently under contract. Anything you hear in the meantime has little if any merit.

Cleveland gets a qb who can win with his feet and maybe his arm, and pick #7 to get Treadwell or ??

The Niners get Jared Goff a qb who wants to playin SF and has precision passes.

I would do this trade all day long, even if the Niners had to throw in a 4th rounder or next years number 3 to make it work

Everyone would do this because it's an absurdly one sided trade.

Kaepernick is worth almost nothing in a trade. #7, our 2nd round pick, our 3rd round pick, and Kaepernick may not be enough to trade up to #2. We're better off trying to trade up with the Cowboys and picking whichever QB drops there or sitting back at 7 and taking the BPA.

There is a chance the Cowboys may take a QB at 4, we are better off trading up to 3rd overall with San Diego and just take the leftover guy from Cleveland. But, my question is I wonder what is difference in cost between trading to No. 3 and No. 1 overall? Every team asks for different things, if the difference is minimal, might as well go No. 1 and preempt the Browns.

Draft Trade Chart shows it will take our 1st, 2nd, 3rd (about 2,300 points) and more than likely next year's 1st as we would still be about 700 points short. Not worth it at all. Even the move up to #3 from 7 would require that same 2016 package at a minimum

If Cleveland Browns dont want trade to kap if they will draft for Goff or Wentz for Cleveland Browns? If they will be busted out? Then Cleveland Browns will be dumb? when kap will be else to new team? Then Cleveland Browns will be waste again for another years. Well ur decided what u do then good luck for u all by Cleveland Browns and Houston.

We dont worry about that Cleveland Browns and Houston dont interested to trade for kap. I dont mind cuz we had no plm. Good luck for u both by Cleveland Browns and Houston
