MD. Thanks for doing these things. It helps a lot. It's early but 3 guys i really like are Jaylon, Ramsey and Miles Jack. If you saw these 3 guys, regardless of injury or who we already have on the team, would you lean towards one player. Jaylon was always my favorite but now he has the injury. I'm starting not to care about the injury if they say he is healing well. I Love Ramsey as a safety but I know we have Reid, Ward, Bethea and now Tartt. But Ramsey just looks like he has it. Always around the ball. Kind of reminds me of Earl Thomas?? Don't how it all fits together but I liked seeing Arizona do that 3-3-5 Defense this year. I like Jack as well but trying to figure if it's just because the first 2 guys have question marks. He's a great athlete for sure, but I'm not amazed when I watch him.

Any thoughts would be awesome!

Never boring. Really fun for anyone who loves to analyze prospects. No holes in his game.

I'm fairly certain you've have guys like Manzeil, Blackmon and others with character concerns on your big board in years past. Nkemdiche will go in the top 15. He's way too talents to not even be on the board

Blackmon, yes. Manziel, absolutely no, no. no. Please feel free to do a search. Didn't like Manziel at all coming out of college.

The talent is there for Nkemdiche, but not the heart. And, crazy is crazy. Not for me.

MD, thanks for the great work.

So if Buckner is there at 7, you say take him regardless of who else may be available?

As of today, yes. Run that card up to that stage. The only exception I could see is if one of these QBs really distinguish themselves this offseason as a sure fire franchise QB.

So, what if Tennessee likes what they see in Goff. Would they trade Mariota for the #7 pick? That would give them Goff and a high very 1st rounder. Is Mariota that much better than Goff?

Zero percent chance.

Goff is terrific under pressure? The Utah tape scares me!

Utah was a mess, and that holds me back from elevating him any higher at this point. However, take a look at some of the other games where he is pressured pretty significantly. He holds up fairly well. That Cal OL was not very good.

The importance of the QB is so significant that even a mid-level starter in the NFL trumps pretty much everything else. That is about what I see from Goff right now. Starter? Yes. Star? I don't think so.

Dallas is the wild card. Will they take an immediate defensive starter like Buckner, Spence, or Ramsey or take the QB of the future in Wentz or Goff. You evidently think it will be the QB.

My guess is the Niners will be selecting either Goff, Spence,Miles or Treadwell as I now think Tunsil, Wentz (or Goff), Bosa, Buckner, Ramsey, and Stanley will go top 6.

Lot of wild cards. Wouldn't be surprised at all if SD went QB at three overall. Cleveland tends to do dumb things in the draft. Should be entertaining for sure.

MD, if you had to choose between Jack/Smith, Buckner and Stanley/Tunsil, who would you pick?

Buckner. Took about 1 second to answer. Think of player between the abilities of Calais Campbell and JJ Watt. Ceiling at or near Watt, floor at Calais Campbell.

Smith. Special, special player. Just a shame this happened. Ramsey is so athletically talented that he can probably play anywhere in the secondary. Hopefully, all of these guys will get a shot with healthy bodies.

I'm sure Chip will push for Buckner. He loves those Oregon players. It would be interesting to see an NFL reunion of Armstead and Buckner.

If Armstead continues to develop and Buckner becomes what you believe he will be, that will be a terrifying defensive end combination down the road.
Interesting you have Wentz rated over Goff...how do you compare the two? (Not sure if you've posted this elsewhere)

how many Oregon-players has he acquired with Philly?
Well with our first official MD list we can get the draft season truly going!

Nice call on Bullard, the guy is a stud thats good at doing all the little things and the dirty work. Was kinda hoping he'd still be there in the 2nd for us, going behind much more hyped names.

Where do you see Darron Lee's best fit at in the NFL?

Love Bullard. Great college player. Impact plays left and right. No gaps in productivity. Relentless. Disruptive. He and Buckner were my favorite players to watch on the DL, along with Bosa. Hope some team values him as much as I do and selects him with a mid-first rounder. Can't see him being there in the second. Won't run really fast at the combine, and that will probably keep him in the 22-28 range, in my estimation.

Lee is best as a Will in a 43 defense. Let him run and chase. Needs to work on tackling. The only deficiency in his game.

Wentz has the upside, better arm, better mobility. Goff has a ton of maturity, appears to be the less-flashy, but very dependable QB. Smart guy.
