Nope. How often does a QB not go first overall? Trubisky is a great prospect, and great QB prospects will always go ahead of anyone else.

But, the Browns has a second 1st round pick from the Eagles, they can use that to take a franchise QB. Even if they can't land Trubisky, they can still land a top QB prospect.

Jets too? They still have 2 QBs that they haven't really tried out. OK, they have played Bryce Petty a bit, but they need to give him a chance plus they still have Christian Hackenberg.

Possibly the Bears, although they seem to be trying out Matt Barkley.

In any case, the top 4 ranked QB prospects according to CBS are Trubisky, Watson, Kizer and Kaaya.

Christian hackenberg you see that kid play at all? Petty still can't read a offense at all.

Matt Barkley brah? Three career TDs man, could you imagine being a fan of those two teams if they said they are gonna roll with hackenberg/petty and Barkley as their starters in 2017

If they are in a spot to draft a qb they will...wouldn't be surprised if kap heads to NY next yr.

Garrett is gonna go #1 unfortunately for us we're at #2

I'm not scared to get a QB. I would just make an offer for Jimmy Garopollo that the Patriots can't refuse. A 2nd this year a conditional pick next year 3rd or 4th maybe a 2nd next year and throw in Tank and Brock. But draft Garrett in the first.

This...get Jimmy G for a 2nd this yr and a conditional 2nd in 2018. Get Myles if there, if not trade down with a team that wants a qb or Allen.

If we are able to trade down get one of the following in Mike Williams/Corey Davis and grab Harris or Tarrk with that recouped 2nd in the trade down, also trade torry smith and a 5th to the Eagles for mychal kendricks (dude's been avg like 15-20 snaps a game) win win for both sides .....boom!

Sounds so easy lol

To be honest if we miss on Garrett I would prefer getting your boy Fields.

I like either, Takk has been growing on me...Fields is the 124th overall prospect currently (which kinda doesn't mean anything right now lol) that would be great value, all depends where they have him on their Boards.

I'd like to replace Torrey smith with someone like James Washington if we could get that trade done (fantasy land I know)

1st Mike Williams/Corey Davis in trade down
*trade 2nd for Jimmy G
recouped 2nd in trade down for top pass rusher or possibly Pat Elflein (center upgrade)
3rd Kevin King
4th Devonnte Fields
4th James Washington
5th-trade for Kendricks (and Torrey Smith)

Plus that's not even including FA spending that has to happen and extra picks for the trade down.

It can be done we just need a open minded and creative GM not dumb ass like Baalke.

I won't be surprised if Mitch/Watson and possibly Kizer do. Like you said without a QB teams don't succeeded in this league. They will always be over drafted.

So much for that. QB is our top priority now. I'm back on drafting a QB with our 1st pick - Mitch Trubisky or DeShone Kizer. Not really big on Watson. Size and inconsistent accuracy is a major problem for me. And, we don't need anymore QB's who don't see the field well. So for me, I'm back on QB, and ILB, in the first.

Right now Kizer is not worthy of a 1st round pick, did you guys happen to see him play this year? The kid needs to go back to school to boost his stock and seeing that he's a red shirt sophomore I think he does it. For the 49ers its either Garrett, Trubisky or trade down (Mike Williams perhaps) there's no other options!!!
