No way we draft Treadwell AND sign Jeffrey with Torrey Smith's contract on the books

I'd rather get Ezekiel Elliott with Carlos Hyde then try to replace Quinton Patton with Michael Thomas.

Always nice to dream but AJ isn't getting out of Chicago they will resign or at the very least tag him.
Well, I'm sold - http://www.ncaa.com/news/football/article/2016-01-10/ole-miss-wr-laquon-treadwell-signed-every-autograph-after-sugar
I have been reading things like him going to Dallas to be paired with Dez Bryant who some have been comparing him with and others say to the bears, some have said the bears whether or not they manage to resign AJ.

Maybe I am comparing the past two drafts, that, at this time of year, seamed to have more name recognition talent than this year. This seems like the year that Alex Smith came out for lack of a better comparison. Would like to trade back to pick up an extra pick like say 10, but I am guessing not going to happen.
All three years Chip Kelly was in Philly they drafted a receiver with one of their first two picks.

Doesn't like like there will be much of a dropoff between 7 and 10 this year, so I doubt anyone wants to trade up to our spot. Agree that this draft isn't particularly strong at the top which is a little unfortunate given we have a pretty high pick.

If one of the top 5 guys (Bosa, Tunsil, Ramsey, Goff, Jack) is there at 7, I'd be pretty happy. Not a huge dropoff from Jack to guys like Stanley, Treadwell, or Buckner.

this year has fetwo w blue chip prospects( jaylon smith was one and tunsil) but there is a lot of talented guys in this draft very deep and guys worthy of top 10 picks

Smith was hugely overrated, even prior to the injury, I don't think he would have gone in the top 10. The college scouts at Scout.com had him as the second most overrated prospect in the draft, and they follow these guys from high school. It was a big myth.

Lol no problem
The more I think about it the more I think he will be the pick...FA is pretty dry at WR and chip needs his Wide outs.

I wouldn't mind it if they grab some Solid FAs at the OL/DL postions
One thing to remember is that Baalke passed on most FA receivers in 2012 for Jenkins so he wasn't too keen on them at that point

More likely he looks to the draft.
