Quick nugget of info
Technically Adams Jr has never played in Kelly's system. The two hardly know each other
Believe it or not Helfrich's system and Kelly's system have their differences.

That's actually a good point. I didn't realize that.
He doesn't really bring much if he didn't play for Chip IMO.

Vernon Adams finished the year hot at Oregon, leading to many questions about his NFL draft stock. One scout in attendance at the East-West Shrine Game practices in St. Petersburg, Florida, this week texted me that Adams "won't be in the NFL in two years." With a small frame (5'10 ½", 195 lbs, 8 ¾" hands), he has a lot to overcome, but he's worth a late-round flier in my opinion.

Jayson Braddock @JaysonBraddock
Vernon Adams should embrace showing what he can do in RB / WR drills. As a QB he reminds me of Pat White. I graded him out as an UDFA.

Should have a long and productive career in the CFL as a QB.

Loved What Vernon Adams Showed!!! His Arm Looked STRONG. His Lack of Height bothers me a little but I love the dude!!! I would use a 3rd rounder on him Only because He fits Chip Kelly's system Like a GLOVE!!! Yes 3rd round grade from me.

He fits Chip Kelly's system so well but not many other systems. We can draft him in the 5th or 6th. No fear of him going before that with those tiny hands, slightly above average arm and well below ideal height

Too many Oregon and pac 12 fans on here, dude will go undrafted, get cut in camp and take his ass to Canada or the arena league.

I see him getting drafted by someone but I don't see him lasting in the NFL. He's not Russell Wilson, he doesn't have the same arm strength, athleticism or passing talent like Wilson did, having played in a pro-style offense coming out of Wisconsin. He's got a pretty small frame, if he had injury issues in college he will get absolutely pummeled in the NFL. At best I see him as a good backup, a Tavaris Jackson type in the NFL, at worst, as Jcool said, he'll be tearing it up somewhere in Canada.

Dude is gonna Wear #3 as a 49er and back up Kaep and Gabs while he Learns the playbook for a year or 2. Maybe I overdrafted him in the 3rd round so lets use a 4th or 5th on him why not??

Because it's a bad idea. We need playmakers, not clipboard holders.

You are probably right but I would invest a 6th rd pick on the kid if he is available at that point.
