Any way we could scoot up to the end of the 1st and snag him if available? He could be picked before we even could offer something worth trading up for, but I think if he falls into the 30's, a trade up would be brilliant. I wonder if Noah spence will be the reason for the first rift between chip and Trent?

As we all know, Trent has zero issues taking players with red flags aslong as they are talented and can play. However, chip won't give any player with any red flags the the time. According to his former scout, chip didn't have Aaron lynch, jaquiski tartt or Carlos Hyde on his board. They were completely removed over red flags.

Crazy thing is there are no recorded incidents with tartt, but apparently chip is very diligent and digs deep in order to avoid any players with character or off-field issues.

Noah Spence seems like a baalke pick. This is going to be good.

what red flags did Tartt have? What proof to you have of this? Your pulling crap out about Tartt and it was even reported that the Eagles like Tartt and would have drafted him if we didn't in the 2nd (they ended up with Rowe with the next pick).

Obviously the interview process will be huge. He's got top 15 talent...I could live with a trade down (if someone wants to move up for a QB) and grabbing him in the 15-20 range.

Are you illiterate? I clearly prefaced the statement by citing where the allegations were coming from: "according to his former scout". Where do you see me making crap up?

John Middelkauff, who was a scout in philly under chip, has stated this multiple times on local radio. Tartt was NOT on Philly's board. Chip had found something that prompted a red flag.

Okay first off you have to chill with the name calling, I see you ripping on people in numerous threads. That s**t has to stop...not sure if your new here or have already been banned before, but that's not gonna fly around here.

If you have something as subjective as Tarrt has red-flags, which has never been talked about during or after the draft please provide some truth behind it (which you did after I called you out).

keep things social dude we all like the same team and I have no issue discussing things with you (agreeing or not) name calling really isn't necessary.

I was all for trading Aldon Smith even before he came back to us in the mid of the season.. I even argued the fact that he's been babied and should be the one sharing time with Lynch (instead of Brooks and Lynch)...

before the draft, I was done with him and posted the idea of trading him to the Raiders and to draft Khalil Mack..

And who in there right mind would have traded Mack on a rookie contract for Aldon smith with one foot out the door and getting ready for a new contract?

I like spencer so we agree with that, but please be realisitc with some of things your saying.

I doubt it. Don't think he will convince me he is a Hall of Fame talent in the next 90 days or till he actually plays in the NFL.

I'm trading back and grabbing him. I think he is well worth it depending on who we target in Free Agency

Admittedly I don't know a whole lot about college prospects. I usually will buy a few draft guides and listen to guys like yourself, Phoenix and others to get educated. From what I have read on Spence, he sounds like the best edge rusher in the draft who has had some issues with drugs. If he's the real deal as a pass rusher then I am all for trading back a few spots to accrue another pick or 2 and taking him in the 1st. To me a stud pass rusher at the OLB position is the defenses biggest need. I don't think there will be many FAs that will make it to the open market nor does this draft appear to be particularly strong when it comes to edge rushers ...so he may just be the guy in the 1st
