Kalen's Mock Offseason

Only 3 rounds lazy mock ...Said before people are crazy if they think we're gettin a new HC just wont happen ...Hate all mocks that have us taken a 1st round QB...
I love this off-season mock. Well done!

For possible DC candidates, maybe we dip one more time into the Bengals pool and snag Vance Joseph. He appeared to be our 1st choice for DC this past off-season, the Bengals blocked the interview. I'm not sure what his contract status is, but if he's a FA, we could be free to negotiate with him this time.

Agree with your notable departures. There's an outside chance Kap is back at a reduced salary, but for now, I'll assume he's on the way out.

Love the FA additions, although I view Sanu as a Boldin type. Would prefer Marvin Jones, as he has more ability to threaten on the outside. Would like to bring Boldin back in a slot WR role. Alex Mack almost seems like a no-brainer. We need quality interior o-lineman, he's a CA guy, and is definitely leaving Cleveland.

Jared Goff is the guy I want at the top of the draft. If he's not available, I would want to grab the best pass rusher available. Hopefully we've addressed the OL in FA so we can focus on other needs with our 1st rd pick.
Lazy lazy mock
3 rounds only...

And we don't address our terrible OL and DL in the draft... No DL help at all. Bad bad bad

Mock drafts are rarely accurate after the 4th round so I'm fine with 3 round mocks. Our OL would have 6 good players with AD and Boone coming back and Mack singing(AD, Staley, Tiller, Boone, Mack and Kilgore). I agree with the DL part, we could sign Wolfe or Wilkerson in the FA or look for it in the 3 rd round.

Is Mack a good singer?
Don't hate it.

I can live with Goff if we boost up the OL and if by some crazy miracle we were to get jackson i'd be a happy camper...I also agree with sofaking Joseph would make for a solid DC IMO.

I like the FA signings but I'll pass on Sanu we don't need the whole Cinci team I'd get crazy and throw some cash at Jeffery if he doesn't get tagged.

We need DL help in the worst way...if Sheldon Day is sitting there in the 3rd I'd prefer him to a running back.

I hope we make some serious moves during the draft--I don't want 12 so so players give me 4 or 5 quality picks

I would LOVE Booker. That dude can play.

Would love to get him in the 2nd if we need to. Hyde is great, but we need a 1a/1b situation. Booker is that guy.
I like it all for the most part besides Goff. Hue Hackson is my #1 choice for HC, but I think there will be about 5-8 Head coaching vacancies and I think the SF job is toward the bottom of the list coaches would want to come. Only way we get him is if we offer him the most money and I'm not sure I have the faith Jed would do that.

Also I really want Mack as well, and I know we have a ton of cap room. But I'm interested to see how Baalke/Paarge play this offseason. We know they don't like to get into bidding wars with big FA's or even sign big FA's for that matter. I just hope we don't end up landing any really good players because we are scared of over spending. We need help badly on the OL and I think FA is the best place to get that help.
I'd be very happy with that mock offseason...best part would be the coaching moves and Mack in free agency.

Great job for picking Goff in the 1st!

Great to see fans are coming around to see how critical it is for the 9ers to take Goff in the 1st.

Another one joins the bandwagon, Rascal.

We are gathering momentum as we speak.
I would like this off-season as a whole. It does leave us with 4 more rounds to fill in some gaps on Defense and at Tight end. For DC choices, what is Jim Schwartz up to these days? I am not as married to the 3-4 as I have been in the past due to our lack of OLBs and I am not sure how much experience Jackson has with 3-4 defenses. His contacts may mostly be 4-3 guys.

I think Boldin is done. As much as I'd like to bring him back as well, he's really really slow.

Agree with everything else you said and I'm happy you also want Goff.
