Watson might sit out the rest of the game, might as well. They are blowing them out and the backup qb just went right into the endzone

Would be a smart move, sucks bc he was killing it, having his best game of the year b4 hurting his shoulder..

That first half I saw him going though progressions and making good smart plays.

Coulda shook up big boards with that first half from what I'm hearing. Saw the sideline long pass.

He honestly has always done that. Now he has had some bad throws this year for sure (also had a TON of balls dropped that would have been huge gains/TDs), but he has always had pocket presence and the ability to read defenses. Not sure where this narrative about him being unable to read defenses and going through progressions has come from at all, but I see people in this thread parroting it all the time. Here's a former UNC QB talking about Watson being smart with his play with respect to keeping his options open in and out of the pocket:
Also...go to 20:13 here on this video where he is talking about his INTs after the FSU game and see if this sounds like a kid who understands the game and puts in his preparation. He details the freaking coverages that the Noles had on for his interceptions and admits to his mistakes. He lives in the film room but is obviously human.
