Cowboys being as bad as they've been w/o Romo is perplexing. Solid roster on paper, best offensive line in football. They're going to be so good next year with top picks plus Romo back? Do they pick Romo's successor or take an instant plug and play talent like Bosa or Nkemdiche?

imho they should try to do both with a franchise corner stone on Dline and a 2nd round QB.

They keep saying that. But without Romo they are junk. And I don't really rate Romo that high. Good until the playoffs!

I highly doubt they will, but I've said for weeks that Dallas is in prime position to draft a QB high if one falls into their lap. They could easily let that person sit for two seasons and learn behind Romo.

Not necessarily. If they can draft a guy like Tunsil, I think that would be HUGE as far as bolstering the OL goes. Nkemdiche would be a nice addition as well. If you can get into the Top 5 you have a lot more options, even if just to trade down.
This. Last I checked, a LT and pass rusher were #2 and #3 on the list of needs for every NFL team. If you can land a franchise player period, it's a win.

If we lose to Cleveland ... We will pick no worse than 4th.
I think we have just as much of a chance against Cleveland as we do St Louis. St Louis defense has been horrible lately and we play them at home. This team is night and day on the road.
I'm still hoping we lose out but I can see us winning another 2 games and blowing our chances at one of the best prospects in this class :(

That's something people shouldn't sleep on. If we don't think there's a legit QB prospect in this draft there is a possibility to move down, still get a starter caliber player elsewhere on the team who can help now and get an extra 1st rounder that we can use as ammo to move up for our guy if we're not already in position due to another poor season.

Gonna be tough to move up. Cleveland will have QB issues (although I can see JM pulling out a weird win), and Romo is done. I should take a look at the remaining schedules for the teams at 2-3 losses, but it's a weird League, and anything can happen. Any Given Sunday and all that....
Hard to see us winning any game but the Cleveland game, and that's on the road. We suck on the road and the Browns may be in the "WTF" mode and give Johnny Football the start against us. It might be enough to make them play hard for a game or two.
I think Dallas manages one more win.
Too many possibilities at this point. Don't want to give up on the Season completely, but a top 3 pick sounds pretty good to me. Can't see us falling all the way to #1, but you never know.

IMO looking at our schedule and the way teams have played recently our best chance is vs the Rams at home. We're a much better team at home and the Rams right now suck. Their offense may be worse than ours as nobody respects their passing game...which is really killing my FF team with Todd Gurley stinking it up.
Cleveland's defense stinks but they'll be at home and our offense isn't exactly stellar so it's weakness on weakness there.

Yeah I could see us losing to cleveland and then winning the final game at home vs the rams to keep Tomsula and staff around and making us lose 5+ draft spots and losing out on Goff/Lynch. We seem to always do well that last game especially at home when nothing is on the line. I remember a lot of blowout wins and upsets those last games.

Titans and Browns are favored this week at home against the Jags and 49ers. The Cowboys have a shot against the Redskins, but losing Romo hurts. We could jump ahead of the Chargers on the basis of SOS if we both lose (they play the Broncos). We could be 3rd/4th with tied for the worst record in the league with a loss this week!

Browns don't play us until next week. They're facing Cincinnati and will get killed.

Damn, you're right - thought we were playing the Browns this week, not the Bears. Will be interesting to see if Manziel plays against us in 2 weeks.
