That I don't know. What matters most is the accuracy of the info. I guess we will soon find out.

It's worth it to note that he pushes profootballweekly. How much news do they usually break ?

Even if you don't like any of the QBs and Fournette, you still have Adams to deal with. I might be wrong, but I don't think this is John Lynch's style. Trading down is just too much of a Baalke-like move. I still say again plus it has now come out form the horse's mouth that John wants to end up with a handful of top quality players that they can rebuild around and take the 9ers back to winning championships. To do that you just don't trade down and dilute the picks. Like John said, they are very comfortable with who they are going with at 2 and it will take an absolutely blockbuster type deal for them to consider otherwise.

I'll say this, if he is the pick, for the first time in a long time, I'm kinda looking forward to watching the 49ers offense go against Pete Carroll's defense. I wanna see Richard Sherman try to tackle LF in the open field.

He's like a bowling ball and the secondary, s**t even the linebackers are like pins. Lol

Remember that Vance McDonald truck job?

Only with Fournette, it will be 10 times worse and 100 times more often!! LOL.

Boys, the flood gates have been opened, even if I want to stop it I can't. LOL.

OK, yet another Chicago source, but this time from the Chicago Tribune, Brad Biggs reported the talks amongst the NFL circle on Monday night is the 9ers will take Fournette at 2:

"Scuttlebutt in league circles Monday night was the 49ers could make LSU's Leonard Fournette the highest-drafted running back since the Saints selected Reggie Bush No. 2 in 2006,"

Woohoo!!! Let's go Fournette!!!

Don't shoot the messenger.

All semantics really. The truth is rumors are flying around the 9ers will or sorry could take Fournette at 2. LOL.
We have rumors of taking a RB, a QB, a safety, and a DL all in the same day..crazy!

I highly doubt our teams scouts have ANY idea as to the conversations taking place in the draft room. They submit their reports and are kicked out.

Don't you remember how big Lynch was on secrecy, even testing Jed and Paraag before accepting the job? I doubt more than 5 people, including lynch, have any idea what our big board looks like.

I don't know why Adams other than a lot of mocks and reports are saying the 9ers like him.

I will say this, safety, be it Adams or Hooker could be the pick because Jimmie Ward is undersized and made of glass. I have never liked this pick, the dude is weakling. We are yet to give him an extension. John was a safety and the new direction we are going with is extreme physicality. Does that sound like Jimmie Ward to you? If Jimmie Ward tries to tackle players like Fournette, he will get trucked over like in those Fournette's highlights and ends up in the hospital.

You love to say everyone is made of glass.

First off, Adams would play SS, and Hooker would play FS. The new regime wants Ward to be a FS, so Adams wouldnt affect Ward. In this new scheme, S is the key to the success of the D, and Lynch, a HOF S, made moving Ward to FS one of his first moves. Does that say "weak" or "not very good" to you?

Jimmie Ward is a good player. He got burned a few times on national TV, and now carries that around, but he's actually been our best DB the last couple years. He was originally a S, so he was talented and versatile enough to play nickel corner right away instead.
Do it Niners. Fournette can be a game changer.
