HAHAHA...weird. I will say MJD doesn't have him as his top RB and he's stated over and over it would be a HUGE mistake to draft him at two....no stud OL not stud RB especially in the case of Fournette

Fournette might be higher on certain analysts boards (most likely not much) BUT he just doesn't play an important enough positions to spend a 2nd overall pick on...far to dependent on other positions

Shanny is a offensive guru. He uses all positions as weapons.

This might be the most absurd post in this thread. Talk about conjecture. Shanny had a borderline historical offense with out a "better running back." Had one of the top rushing attacks in the league without a "better running back" Made it to the superbowl without a "better running back" completely blew out the patriots and offensively demolished them in the first half without a "better running back"

If shanny wanted to run the ball, he would have. He certainly had the personnel to do so.

He's on record saying he stood behind his decision to not run because of offensive philosophy, not because of personnel. Falcons averaged 5.8 ypc that game.

Sometimes, when coaches make bad decisions, it's not because they're wishing they had a player that they dont.

See: niners not running with Gore in superbowl loss. Seahawks not running with lynch (who most are using as the player to justify fournette!) in their superbowl loss.

But hey, if Seattle actually had a better back then Marshawn Lynch in the last couple minutes, you think they still would have passed the ball?

FWIW he has him graded at 7.95 out of 9. The top of his grading scale for context :

9.00 Elite—No. 1 pick
8.00-8.99 All-Pro—Rare Talent
7.50-7.99 Round 1—Pro Bowl Potential

So it appears he does not see him as a generational talent given the grade. Lists his vision as a weakness at times and says the 8 fumbles on 600 + carries could be a cause for concern.

Best case scenario:
Jags move up for Fournette. We get r1p4, 2017 2nd, 2018 2nd.

Browns move up for trubisky. We get r1p12, 2017 2nd, 2017 3rd, 2018 1st.

We now have 2 extra second round picks, an extra 3rd, and an extra 1st and second next year.

First three rounds 2017:

Zach Cunningham, LB
Tyus Bowser, SLB

This... his newest mock is Adams to us...not LF. BOTH would be underwhelming picks IMO
