2016 WR Prospects

Jaylon Smith and Treadwell are my current favorites to be our pick. Pairing Smith with Bow or pairing Treadwell with Torrey would be hard to pass up.

how is treadwell havent seen film on him but i hear good things
He was top rated receiver coming out of HS, rated 5th overall player by Rivals. Had over 70 catches, close to 1000 yards as a freshman. Bad leg/ankle injury midway through his soph season. Came back strong this year with better numbers than his freshman season. 6-2, 225, 4.5 40. Great feet, good hands, no character problems. Will be 20 at the draft. Has drawn comparisons to Alshon Jeffrey, who I thought was the best receiver in his class, and has proven to be just that. Def best wide receiver prospect in the draft. Pharoh Cooper is the best slot receiver.

If we fall out of the top 10 picks, I wouldn't mind changing coarse and going with Treadwell.

I'm starting to have similar thoughts. Our WR corp needs help.

Definetly need another WR, Boldin is showing his age, don't think Patton and Ellington are the answer, would love a Treadwell, guy is the complete package at WR, guy is a monster blocker for the run game.
Don't think a run first team with kap or Gabbert should use a 1st round on a WR...

Maybe we shouldn't be a run first team? even teams like Dallas who are a run first team have Dez Bryant who I think treadwell compares too.

If we win a couple more games I wouldn't mind grabbing him.

When Dallas has Romo a legit QB they are good. What happens to Dez when Cassel is throwing the ball to him.

Blaine is by far more talented the cassel dude. Dez has been hurt all year. Good WRs help qbs

There's nothing wrong with wanting some balance
If they go wr I hope they grab Boyd
I really like Coleman as a slot receiver. Reminds me so much of some of the Steelers receivers(Brown, Wheaton, and now-Bronco Sanders). If he cleans up his route running he could have a huge impact.
I also like Quinshad Davis as a sleeper pick. Bigger guy who hasn't been used well in NC. Similar size and style to Mo Sanu(he's even thrown a few TDs).
Has anyone heard of Arkansas WR Dominique Reed? I didn't notice him until recently, and I haven't heard anyone talk about him; but he made some "wow" plays that caught my attention. He's skinny (6'3 180), but he has the frame to get bigger. I don't know much about him; he just caught my eye is all.
