More like I didn't set myself up for disappointment by being convinced that a run-first team is going to go nuts taking a bunch of WR's early on in the draft. If people have unrealistic expectations of what sort of system this team is going to run, that's on them.


I've said for months now that defense, particularly the front seven was going to be a priority, because it was clear that is where this the team's strengths need to be in this system. People who lied to themselves and thought that the 49ers were going to go WR, WR, and WR, should have paid better attention to what Baalke and Tomsula and the rest were saying.

Hope that his recovery from ACL injury goes well.

Honestly I wish we drafted DeVante Davis instead, but whatever.

Agreed. Not only do I like the talent selection, I see a vision of a very physically dominant team. We truly are trying to "reload." Teams will hate playing us because of the physicality.

You guys remember 2011/12? Every team that played us ended up with injuries.....
