I'd take Goldman over Davis any day...a 1st rd pick should be a guy who can either start or contribute in a big way his rookie season. EG has a tremendous work ethic...can play both DT and DE...never takes a play off...is the kind of big inside DL Mangini loves. Goldman's also a guy who will tie up 2 OL on virtually every play...Tomsula will lose that when Justin Smith retires. FSU Coach Jumbo Fisher called Goldman the best DL he's had.
You have two ILB's...but no TE. 2 CB's, but no QB.
I have a gut feeling Baalke will pick TE Clive Walford in the 2nd rd. The reason is Vernon's arguably in his last season as a Niner...other than Carrier, the rest of the TE's have shown very little receiving ability. One key to taking advantage of the speed we have now at WR is guys who can exploit the underneath space and make a bunch of plays. Walford's a guy who can do that...and he can block. He's a perfect fit for what Chryst will do on offense.
It's time to draft a QB Coach Logan can develop.
Over all, though, I like your mock a lot.

The only thing that doesn't really make sense is two CB's plus a safety that projects as a big CB like Johnson did last year.
We have Brock on 1 side and Johnson and Wright competing for the other side. Not to mention Ward.
Add to that Cook, Acker and Reaser to add depth and we are loaded at CB at least depth wise.
I could see Baalke adding 1 exceptional CB early like a Trae Waynes or Marcus Peters or Byron Jones ect. or adding 1 more nice prospect later with upside but I don't see him drafting 2-3 CB's when we have 2 redshirts coming in from last years draft and more needs than we thought we would have.
