No and no and no again. These mock drafts are killing me.

Coming from an Oregon Alum, trust me, we do not want Arik Armstead. Not in the first 45 picks of the draft at least.

LOL, seriously right!?!?! Baalke might do it just to piss us off further.
I'll admit that with our DL vets and coaches we MAY be able to get him to fulfill his potential, but the issue I see other than his lack of pass rush, is a very docile personality. I know some players have the switch that can turn them into demons on the field, but this guy just seems to laxed for my liking. I was smart, dominant, and violent men in the trenches... I don't feel like Armstead has 2 of the 3.
Please trade back for another 3rd, but if not.... Malcolm Brown or Marcus Peters

I actually just had a conversation about him. I think Armstead will be "that guy" that slips to day 2. Mel's best available going into round 2 he will be top of that list.

He's a beast as is Brown and either guy could realistically produce from the get-go.
I'll take Brown over Goldman all day every day....Neither are worth top 15 pick at all though. I want a potential 3 down player and Goldman is strictly a 2 down NT, great against the run, but offers zero in pass-rush. You don't draft a 2 down player at 15...period.

yeah I agree, what if we trade back to the late 20's. Say if we had the 26th pick. I would take Goldman

That would most likely grab us another 2nd, which I could live with. I would rather trade back for Brown though, he's more versatile and he makes plays in the back field, that's what we are looking for. We have Dorsey/Williams there to plug up holes and take on double-teams. I would prefer Shelton over all of them

You know Baalke, always making picks based on what the fans don't want just to troll them

Lol y'all are criminally underrating him. Hes not worth 15 but in a trade back scenario he would be a great pick.

I have a feeling Mangini wants to go the way of the old Patriots dominant defense: 2-gap NT like Danny Shelton/Eddie Goldman (ala Vince Wilfork) and/or Arik Armstead (ala Richard Seymour who was 6'6" 310 himself).

That's a ridiculous comment, considering Aldon Smith was a top 10 pick & was a 1 down player right off the bat.
Maybe you didnt see Goldman much at FSU, I did & id say he gets excellent push up the middle in pass rush. Goldman is a beast stout strong good nose for the ball, basically a perfect 3-4 NG. Besides that I see no problem taking a 2 down starter in the top 15, especially since the 49ers havent used their DT's on third down anyways..
