Detroit selects Kevin Johnson, CB, Wake Forest

In the actual draft, I think they may jump up to try to take one of the top 7 DT's. Davis and Phillips were options in the first round, but T.J. Clemmings is a better player at another position of need in my opinion. After Bennett, I don't know if there is another DT worth taking in the 2nd round.

Texas Niner, your choice Beasley put on a show today at 246 lbs. Consider this a semi apology for criticizing your pick earlier in this thread. Then again, Bud Dupree also put on an equally impressive show at 269 lbs. With all the WR's having amazing workouts as well, the edge rushers look like great values at #15.

Thanks. I'm confident we will have some great options there at 15. That was part of the point of doing this draft. And it was a "worst case scenario" for many. Top 3 WR were gone. Top CB was gone. Top 3 DL gone. Still some good options.

anyhow, Indy needs more offense and to finally replace Reggie... and I always thought that this kid would be another AJ Green type of player, but just never had a QB in college.
