Stephen Hill 2.0?
No I don`t think so from what I have seen on film, this guy has some wiggle to him He is not as fast as S.Hill but he looks to be a real player maker with what looks like maybe 4.4 speed, most assuredly faster then Crabtree, reminds me of Stevie Johnson with more speed I think put in the right system he could be the next Pierre Garcon (not sure how to spell last name) but you guys know who.

- Strong hands, very rarely drops a pass
- Fluid athlete
- Very powerful and athletic (though not a 4.3 prospect more likely a 4.47)
- Quick footwork
- Vicious blocker
- Not ask to run a full route tree in Johnsons scheme but shouldnt have an issue running any route in the NFL
- Respected for his work ethic and leadership
- At this point he is still unnoticed by the national media but you can be sure that all 32 teams are well aware of his talent

There QB has 800+ yds rushing and completes 50% of his passes......what this guy could do with a decent QB

Gatech grad here. Smelter has been great all year. Due to the triple option, we dont pass alot. Therefore, most of J. Thomas's passes are not accurate. This doesn't seem to slow down my boy Smelter. He is always making huge catches in clutch moments.

He plays for a team that is known for rushing more than passing and the QB isn't very good. Still, his stats are awesome! However, I doubt we'll pick him up (just ask Baalke).

Definitely an interesting prospect that wasn't on my watch list, he is now. Watching them vs Clemson now and like what I'm seeing from him, especially his run blocking! Thanks deUH

Also watching. He would have had a touchdown early in game if QB Thomas could have gotten the ball down the field to him & let him run under it

Great catch!
That's the kind of talent we need. Only guy who really can go up and fight for balls like that is Lloyd

Looks like a good prospect... But are we seriously gna draft another mid round WR? I think we need to let Crabtree walk and draft a top 5 WR to start right away.
