It looks like he's our last option right now...

This a trillion times. Philly would be willing to cash out all their chips for Mariota. But no way he actually makes it to 15 in real life.

No one thought Rodgers would make it to 21...

Hope we get this guy or DeVante Parker.

Fair enough but that is the exception not the rule.

I really don't think he would be bad as a OC. He was part of some really good offenses.

OC=

HC=
White looks like he may be the fastest of the larger receivers available. Last year I was hoping for either Odell Beckham or Brandon Cooks because I think the team needs speed, speed, speed at the receiver position.

White's got speed and size. He also has produced numbers. Maybe this year the Niners get a good receiver in the draft.
Definitely has the best wheels of all the top wide receivers.

Add in his size, athleticism and he separates himself from the pack.
I'm pretty sure Green-Beckham is the fastest of the top receivers. I wasn't able to find track times for Kevin White in a quick Google search, but Green-Beckham ran a 10.59 in high school which is very impressive, especially for someone his size. http://mo.milesplit.com/meets/66126/results/124273

On Kevin White:
CBS: While an excellent athlete, White isn't a burner and doesn't have the elite suddenness in space to consistently make defenders miss or dance his way out of trouble.

NFL.com: White competes hard for the ball and has the leaping, hands and high-pointing ability to be a factor down the field despite his lack of top-end speed.

Coates and Green-Beckham both look faster that White. White is probably mid-high 4.4's, Green-Beckham low 4.4's, and Coates is 4.3's, but can't catch. I want Green-Beckham - I don't care if we have to babysit him like the Cowboys do with Dez Bryant. He's got way more potential than any other receiver in this class. He has size, speed, coordination, and good hands and just needs to improve his route running and add some more strength. I'm rooting for White and Parker to get taken before Green-Beckham because I don't want the 49ers to pass on this kid for a safer prospect.
I'll take KW over DGB easy, especially when you throw in the shoddy work ethic and off-field issues associated with DGB.

Randy Moss says hello. Sometimes you have to take the risk and pull the trigger on the guy with the superior talent. No player in the draft is ever a guarantee anyways.

If I'm the 49ers, I'm going after the guy with the most potential and the guy who has measureables through the roof.
Are you implying DGB is a similar talent to Randy Moss? lol not even close.

Give me the guy who has kept his nose clean while managing to progress every single season over the guy who had one good season and then flamed out because he liked to stay high and tried shove his girlfriend down the stairs.

I look at the top WR's as Cooper, White, Parker and then there's everyone else.
