White had Mario Alford who was more productive this season than both Coates and Williams. He's a lot like Tavon Austin was in college. Side note: Coates hardly even played in the bowl game, why is that? Love Coates potential, but disagree that he will be the better pro of the two

you have to ask Coach Guz about that,the announcers had the same question of why Coates did not start and why was He not in on key situations,Had me scratching my head also....But Sammie has all the tools to be a elite no.1 receiver IF he lands with the right coaching staff,He will be drafted no doubt you can`t teach 4.36 speed and He is bigger then you think.

No this dude is Big I got a close -up look at Him when he was standing near a Offensive lineman and a TE and dud is nothing but rock-solid muscles and he `s kinda wide not like a reciever but like a tweener wr/te type I hope trent takes a Loooooong look at this kid,Trent you can`t keep drafting ok WRs you got strike on talent soon.

Jump balls redzone targets, durability. Very, very few small WR's are durable. We need a TO, Calvin Johnson type of WR. Tall big and fast with good hands. You can't lose. 6'3 and up

No, we do not need a TO, Calvin Johnson type WR. Plenty of teams are successful without those type of WRs, and they are extremely rare to begin with so having one is a luxury.


We play in a division where the cornerbacks are big, long and play tons of press-man. "Jump ball targets" is playing right into their strengths. You don't try to beat your opponent by going at their strengths, you beat them by exploiting their weaknesses ie with SPEED and QUICKNESS.

The guys that have killed Seattle are the receivers with speed and quickness. It's no coincidence that just about every WR that has had success against them has run a 4.4 or faster(Roddy White, TY Hilton, Jarius Wright, ETC).

Yes we do need one! Midget WR's rarely cover it. Look at Dez Bryant and Calvin Johnson tonight! Look at Baalke passing up on Kelvin Bejamin 6'5 who led all rookies in yards. Mike Evans 6'5 was number two WR and Baalke chose Ellington over Martavius Bryant was stupid stupid stupid. The guy killed it in college. Now he's shredding it in the pros and had a great game last night for the Steelers. Midget WR's are a wash. I'm done talking about this goodnight, buddy

Beckham Jr. led all rookie WR's in yards (1305 receiving yards in 12 games) and is the best WR in the class by far right now (coming from a Bills fan). He's already a borderline top 10 WR in the league and is 5'11 (he does have long arms and big hands for his size though). Antonio Brown led the league in receiving yards and is 5'10. Height is nice, but there will always be a place in the league for quickness in and out of breaks and good hands. Right now we have a bunch of slow possession receivers that don't have great size. We need someone who can get separation as badly as we need someone who can out-jump people in the red zone. It would be great to get both, but a small, quick WR who can get open could help this offense a lot.
