This. We'd have to trade up to have a chance, he's killing it at this combine.

Why do people continue to insist that you beat a big grabby, hold-prone CB using a big WR. That's more or less playing into the CB's hands and giving him a bigger target to grab on to. The guys that Sherman has struggled with covering the most are smaller, quicker and faster guys that got to where he couldn't get to.
I like White because he's a very good weapon all-around, but not necessarily the guy I'd want to put up against Sherman.

Conley looked really good and White surpassed expectations. That said, if there is a
DL at 15 they may see the WR depth as good enough to wait until the 2nd round...expecially if White is gone.
As far as finding someone to beat Sherman...that's on the QB more than the WR. You can't throw it up against Sherman, you have to throw it to the opposite side of the receiver.

Or just avoid that side of the field completely......

Plus he leads all receivers with 23 reps on the bench press. Dude is a beast!

I agree with this - I don't think we should be looking for a guy to beat Sherman necessarily. Sherman doesn't chase receivers around, so we can stick our 3rd receiver up against him. We should just be looking for the best players we can find and guys who can beat some of their other corners.
Jeremiah just compared him to Julio Jones and I'm starting to agree with that. I don't think he's quite as fast, but both are powerful guys and White is really competitive which I love. He's probably my favorite WR now. I don't really focus on bench press numbers, but with him, it confirms how competitive he is and that he's willing to put in work.

I still think Cooper is easily the top WR. He's done nothing to hurt himself whatsoever at the Combine.
People are obsessing over White's numbers but ignoring just how raw he is. One productive year at WVU in a Blitzkrieg style passing offense. If I had to put my job and life savings on the line, I'm still going with the guy who's produced for 3 seasons in the SEC.
