Well, crap. I just wrote several detailed analyses about how we don't need DL as much as other positions. Last year I argued with people about why we didn't need an ILB in that draft. Apparently, I am a jinx.

That's Karma

Gerod Holliman FS Louisville (btw can he play CB too or is he strictly FS?)
Rashard Higgins WR Col. St.
Senquez Golson CB Ole Miss

Holliman is hot garbage man. His picks are mostly dumb luck. Watch him on film he has decent instincts but he's a bad tackler and isn't really good in coverage. Higgins isn't eligible til next season he will be a top 15 pick if he can repeat his production. Golson is a good corner very raw and pretty athletic but a solid 6th round project corner.
Golson is also listed at 5'9" and 175lbs so he doesn't have the "ideal" size. He has the size of Jason Verrett the best corner in last years draft until his injury but I'm pretty sure his draft stock will improve if he runs a 4.3 at the combine. I personally like him but he does not cover like Verrett did so his size will hurt his stock more than Verrett.

Even Verrett looks at Golson and is like 'dude...eat something"

Ok thanks for that. Although I find it unusual that "hot garbage" would subject to dumb luck 14 times in 1 season no less...
In no specific order

QB
WRx2
OT
DE
NT-maybe
RB-maybe
CB/FS
DL
WR
CB
DL - We should consider Danny Shelton of Washington, Anthony Chickillo (Miami), and Henry Anderson (Stanford).

WR - Would take a strong look at Kevin White and Rashad Greene.

OLB - We still need someone in the rotation after Brooks likely leaves.

What about Kevin hogan for a flat round back up about.I only saw him play against Eugene.but every time it looked like he had scramble.pocket awareness and good touch on the ball.any thoughts.didn't think this needed a thread.but I have been Intrigued

Both or is this a one or the other type of deal? Because if Trent Baalke pulled that off without sacrificing our future too much, he's proven he's the most valuable person for this franchise.

Hogan is really bad. Maybe you just caught him on a real good day.

This. He's the reason for Stanford's downfall since taking over at QB imho

LOL. I'm still pissed that we didn't trade up to get him. Dude was shutting guys down before injury and is absolute glue int the slot and outside
