2015 49ers Draft Needs

It looks like there are going to be some pretty good receivers coming out this year. With that said, does anyone think it's worth it to trade up to try and get a guy that can potentially start day 1 or should we just draft multiple receivers? I'm in favor of trading up only because unless a receiver comes to this team a finished product, they aren't going to receive much coaching, which is very sad.

Browsing a few draft sites it seems WR, CB and OG are the most noted needs. Not sure about CB anymore with Johnson, Cox and Ward doing pretty well and having Reaser and Acker coming next year. Hope Rang is right--he has the niners taking Cooper in the 1st round!
Thought that Cox will be a FA after this season? Other than that, I also think that CB isn't a huge need.

We still need help at pass-rush, i.e. OLB and 5-technique. Another ILB would be fine. safety-backup, fast receiver, backup-QB, RB (Gore won't do it much longer, Lattimore retired).
And like I always state: d- and o-line are a permanent need.
Rang has us picking at 11...

Trade? Or did he make this last week assuming the 9ers would lose out...0-10 to end the year?

i'm guessing it was overall standings when he wrote the mock. He has AZ picking 32, FWIW.

It was updated but they don't go all out this time of year. Not always impressed with Rang (or any of these gurus) but if they could get Cooper I'd be dancing on the ceiling!

If not there is Smelter of GTech, this kid has Playmaker written ALL OVER Him and He won`t require a 1st round pick either, more likely a 2-3 round pick.

Watch Pittsburgh take Smelter and add another pro-bowler to their WR draft resume

They have 6 WR going in the 1st. Rang has DGB going top 10. I can't see it with the weed/work ethic issues (related?) and bounced from mizzou.

Agree! I think the WRs will have quite a bit of movement by the end of the year and after the combine. I loved Landry last year but he was considered too slow. Stock really fell.
I wish we could draft an OC. Any offensive player we draft feels like they would just be wasted here

Not a RB or Guard.

That might be the exception. But even the best of those can only do so much
TE?

VD isn't getting any younger and his game was always based on his superior athleticism, without that....well you get what you see this year.
