These are plays from Manziel's highlight reel that either had jump balls, or beat coverage for touchdowns, or broke tackles for touchdowns. I tried to avoid wide open plays or plays that beat zone coverage.

Evans is their best receiver, I never said he wasn't, but I don't see how he separates himself from his teammates like other top receivers such as Watkins, Lee or Cooks.

If we spend resources to trade up that high, we might as well give up a little more and get Sammy Watkins. This guy is a total freak. He is like Johnny football. He doesn't win the track meet, but on the football field he makes everybody else look like they are standing still. This guy jogs into the endzone as a routine because he has so badly beat the defense than he makes it look easy.

Notice how Watkins and Lee and Cooks are used on screens? This is because they have football ability. People can't forget what that says about a player. If a team uses him on screens and the player performs on them, this says a lot about the player's ability.

Watkins is so freakishly talented, not only do they use him on screens, but they almost use him as a running back. They will do anything to get the ball into his hands. He is the one guy I wouldn't be pissed to give up a lot for. Even though I STILL wouldn't want to trade up for him when given a choice, but if we HAD to, I would want it to be for Sammy Watkins.

I'm gonna lose it if for some crazy reason we trade up possibly with Oakland and we take Evans over Watkins.

I don't think that Baalke will trade up twice. It's a good bet that he will trade up once, if the player is in range. It's unlikely the 49ers deal into the top ten but Baalke is a master poker player so anything goes.

Mike Evans to me I wouldn't trade up for, I would draft him if he fell (which he wont). I feel he could be a product of the offense he played in. He's also too big for his own good. He'll be slow in 4 years.

I can't some people believe that the 49ers should even remotely consider something like this. I would rather for them not to make one trade and use all their draft picks on various players than to trade away all picks to take 2 players. You have a way better chance of getting quality players out of 12, than you do out of 2.

Agreed! I'm not a fan of trading up for Evans. Watkins is the only WR I would want the 49ers to trade up for and that's a push. I'm a fan of staying put at 30 and waiting to see who drops to you.

All reality as I know it would cease to be if that happened.

I will say this right now, the more I look at Watkins, the more I like him, and I will say this. I would rather DRAFT Sammy Watkins at whatever the rookie payscale is for 4+1 years, than be GIVEN Calvin Johnson at his current salary for 5 years.

In fact, I think Watkins has a good chance to be a better overall player than Calvin Johnson. Watkins plays football at a speed that is rarely seen. He is talented enough to be a starting running back in the NFL, which is saying a lot.
I think Watkins will be the player that everyone thought Reggie Bush would be in the NFL. Watkins is like an Anquan Boldin, Percy Harvin, and Steve Smith all rolled into one.
He has scored touchdowns in so many different ways it is almost unique. Evans? I mean forget Evans. Watkins makes Calvin Johnson look slow and clumsy in comparison.

I generally agree with this. Watkins is so special however, that even though I strongly believe in what you are saying, I would make an exception for him, and ONLY him.

Exactly...not to mention that Kap isn't a jump ball thrower at this point in his career. Right now, situational football is what the 49ers need in the red zone.

I like Evans more than Watkins but I'd rather give up a lot less and move up 10 spots for Cooks.

I wouldn't really disagree with that. I think Cooks has the potential to be the best of the bunch this year.

couldnt ask for more. i think we have a limited number of spots available. so taking 3 WRs or CBs to hopefully find a gem is unrealistic as they wont even get a chance to earn a roster spot. Two is probably the highest we could try to pick up to see if someone gets a chance to show what they can do.

yeah Cooks wouldnt be bad - especially if he can help in Special Teams. I think our return game has been hurt without Ginn and even then it was ok, with his constant injuries.
The other option would be to get Evans and Dri Archer or Ellington.
