Dobbs is gone, TJE showed some promising flashes but you never know. No need to test out our luck. Of course, I could go for a CB or WR too but this year both classes are deep. a 5-technique DT is also a possibilty but according to AB's big board, you won't find one without a trade. And I do trust Carradine for now. 2nd round (KC) WR Donte Moncrief, Ole Miss Any questions? 2nd round traded for a 1st or 2nd-rounder next year (1st if the trading partner makes the playoffs otherwise it's a 2nd-rounder) Could trade it on day one in order to jump for someone but I don't think that we need it that badly. 3rd round (Titans; trade down 10-12 spots and get an additional mid-late 4th-rounder) WR Bruce Ellington, South Carolina quick and fast. 3rd round CB Rashaad Reynolds, Oregon State seems to be fluid, thus can be lined up against slot receivers 4th round FS Marqueston Huff, Wyoming can play CB as well. I don't think that Dahl is a solution for anything unless the ST. 4th round (comp) QB Aaron Murray, Georgia could be gone. Otherwise would pick him in a heartbeat. 5th round (at the beginning of the round; trade away all of the 7th-rounders and perhaps another future conditional 3rd-day round pick) DE Dominique Easley, Florida another DE, late in the draft, who could perhaps play 5-technique 5th round ATH Jerick McKinnon, Georgia Southern Supposed to be a RB on the next level. Though, I strongly assume that we will go for one. 2)No Dri Archer here as well. Ellington and Moncrief should bring enough quickness to the table. 3)late DB picks: like I've stated it for several times, I think that we are good at pick up DBs late. No need to rush it. 4)I've almost picked a "real" RB but given Lattimore and Hunter, behind Gore, I hesitated finally. 5)given that Huff can play at CB and Reynolds is a CB, I don't think that we need another CB through the draft.

Moncrief is leaving as a junior, Matthews as a senior, I wouldn't call that a "ton more experience."

Also keep in mind that they spread the ball around far more often at Ole Miss than they did at Vanderbilt, its no surprise that Matthews has more yards since he also had a lot more targets.

I'd be happy with either one but its funny that people are saying "oh, now that he's run a 4.46 he's okay to draft."

didnt know that Matthews had a good combine, my mistake. Still, I would assume that Moncrief will play quicker and faster than Matthews. But, like Phoenix said, either player would be fine.

You won't see an ILB in my mock, at least not in the first three rounds, for now.

Yep, you must have been drunk when you did this. One marginal corner, one FS who is supposed to be able to play corner and another SS won't do for our secondary needs. Adding a swing OT would be nice, too.
