Dominique Easley in the 5th round would be an early Christmas present for the Niners.
Yep you are DRUNK! Aaron Murray in the 4th? Why, he'll be a College FA, I do like the 1st 2 in Ra'shede and Moncrief but the rest is bad.
Easley in the 5th seems to be optimistic but i think that a lot of teams will hesitate to take him earlier given his injury history.

murray was a very solid qb in georgia's pro-style system. would be gone in the 2nd round if not injured, imo.
You must be wasted. You don't address the secondary with first four picks,
Best mock Iev seen!

Agreed with that too. I think if he were 6'4", he would definitely be a 1st round pick. He's a much better passer than Matthew Stafford, he just doesn't have the measurables and the injury surely doesn't help.

This. Murray in the 4th is a steal, at worst you're getting a very good NFL backup QB. More importantly, he is great at reading defenses, picking them apart, finding the correct reads...etc, you want that type as a backup QB to be able to advise, pick up on things that Kaepernick might miss in the midst of the game time chaos, of course you also want that guy to be able to play and Murray certainly can.
I like this mock draft overall, I'd probably look at a cornerback with the 2nd second round pick but its not a biggie. By all accounts it seems like Eric Wright is coming back so the 49ers aren't going to have a completely empty cupboard at CB. Brock, Culliver, Wright, Morris, plus a rookie or two. I do think that the 49ers can find someone late such as a Shaq Richardson that can be a quality contributor as well, as you mentioned, Baalke seems to have a penchant for finding top CB talent.

Bottomline if they walk out with Hageman, Moncrief and Ellington after three picks, I'll be quite content.

murray is going to fall far in this draft because he's built like a golfer.
If we trade our 2nd round pick we had better get a 1st rounder. This is a deep draft. Why give it up if we are not moving up a round. A team picking early could have a good year and we would be in the middle of round 2 next year. Might as well use the pick this year. We could use an OL or another CB.

Don't see Easley in the 5th round. Probably 3rd round maybe the 4th round.

Otherwise a nice draft.
@all: thx for your critique

Your are right about the issue that a mediocre team could return as just a mid-2nd-rounder.
Therefore, I would propose to demand an additional pick, in the upcoming draft. Perhaps a 4th-rounder if it is a bad team or a late 3rd-rounder if it is a good one...but honestly, I don't know whether it would be way too much.

Like I said, I also think that this is optimistic but possible because of his torn ACLs in both knees.
THX, aprreciate that.

according to the traded 2nd rounder:
Thanks to Phoenix, I knew that I can get a quick WR like Ellington in the 3rd and (perhaps) FS/CB Huff in the 4th. Thus, I was not strongly down to a DB-pick in the 2nd.

BUT I really thought about jumping up to 50th ovr (up from KC) in order to pick Joyner. However, I was to greedy to give up a 3rd-rounder
Then I thought about being optimistic and getting Joyner without any trade with the KC-pick and pick Moncrief with our original 2nd-rounder. Imho, too optimistic ovr.

Martin, Center (and left guard) from USC, would be a possibilty here or even in the 3rd-round after a trade-down. But, we already have three Guards, which doesn't mean you don't have to look for upgrades but still another one would be too much. A Center-backup is certainly needed. So, you could pick Martin here.

Jack Mewhort would be another option here but I didn't lake the statement from CBS that he seems to be very athletic. I do think that we are looking for O-Liners with some athleticism.
Nevertheless, he played a lot of tackle but guard as well. So, given his versatility, he could be picked here.

They may draft a back up Center or they may go for a Guard and have Looney be the back up Center.
Pick Martin or Mewhort and be happy ;)
After Matthews ran a 4.46 I've gotten on his bandwagon...he's got a ton more starting experience than Moncrief. He's the all-time leading SEC receiver for a reason...he's got the total package to succeed. His 20 bench presses to Mncrief's 13 is also a factor. As for Hageman now that Tuitt's injured, I think he's gone well before #30. If Harbaalke really like him, they may have to trade up to get him. Also didn't see an ILB...
