Trade back then get MONCRIEF! I think after the combine he'll move up the draft boards a lot.

K. Benjamin. He can stretch the field with his speed. Hes big enough to shake off Seattles corners. He can block with the best of the receivers and has no problem going over the middle. Complete package!!

Kelvin Benjamin please just move up to the 16~20 to get him we won't have to give up so much as far as draft picks a 1st and 3rd and we can Target 2 players in the early 2nd by using our our 4th and 5th rounders to move up.. face it guys all you guys with more than 6 player mock draft are fooling themselves this team will pick up 7 at most and stockpile picks for next year.

I wouldn't mind giving a team the Falcon type of deal that landed Julio Jones... Heck, w/ all the picks we have, the young players, and the fact that we are a contender, Watkins may just be the player that we need.
Plus, I would not compare the Atlanta's situation to ours, they were still building a team when they traded for Julio..
Look at the Patriots, I remember how they had lots of picks for about 3 straight years, but did not do anything w/ them because they were already a championship caliber.. they kept drafting DBs after DBs, backs after backs, and in my opinion, really never develop those players because of the younger guys they brought draft after draft.
I think if we can land Watkins, we'll be even greater.. heck, we haven't been drafting a superstar on offense in the 1st round for the past 5 years anyhow.. and that includes Crabb.. so, why not make the move?

I'm not ready to make my final decision. I want Watkins but that will not happen. Right now if we stood at 30th pick, Robinson, Landry, or Benjamin would be fine. If we moved up, Dennard, Hageman, Gilbert.

If I had my druthers, we would trade out of the first for a high second round pick in this year's draft and a second or third round pick in 2015.

If we trade out of the 1st, we better get more than a future 3rd. An early 2nd and a future 2nd is more like it.
We should be able to get a solid WR early in the 2nd and the team has traded back in that range a couple times before, so it's possible.

After its all said and done, I will predict before combine that Brandin Cooks will rise up boards and we should select him

Because theres so much value thru out the top 4 rounds. We can get so much more by staying put and getting impact players instead of paying a very high price for one gamebreaker that IMO isn't very great at fighting off press coverage

Cooks or Joyner, if we stay at 30. Tough little dudes can PLAY.
If we choose to believe Harbaugh, re: Baldwin, we might be okay at big WR.

The best WR possible unless a CB is the better player, then take the corner and wait until the second for a WR and S. All depends on trades and or how the picks go. If Dennard is there it would be difficult to take someone else. There are just too many good WRs in the second to ignore a potential game changer at CB.

Exactly what does Harbs want in a WR core? I mean... we have Crab a catch and cut WR with great hands,
we have Boldin, big, go up and snag the ball, intelligent WR.
Then we have Vernon, FAST, good hands, good blocker who takes the top off.
Then Patton, who I think will be awesome very soon and end up being our steal out of all of this.
Then there is Baldwin... Big, pretty fast and highly regarded out of college. Maybe he breaks out this year? could happen with our coaches!
The missing link??... A fast, smart, slot guy with return skills that can get open when Kaep scrambles from the pocket and hold his block down field to open up running lanes!
Who is that missing link??? Beckham? Cooks? Landy? Adams? or Moncrief?
Im happy with any that fit and give the SeaCocks all they can handle!!!!
