Except it doesn't work like that. What you're essentially saying is missing on Taylor Mays hurts the team as much as Bowman helps the team, so their net value is 0, which is a ridiculous position to take. The value of the 3 players outweighs anything else done. Think of it like this; if we only had 3 draft picks and got the big 3, it would've been a good draft. Drafting the other players didn't "hurt" the team at all, it just didn't necessarily help us. Those players were just dropped or retained as depth.
should have at least gpa calculator 3.0. :(

Still wouldn't apply. If you get three good starters out of a draft, it's a solid draft. If any GM did that every year, they'd stay employed. Anything more makes a good draft, whether its other players or players earning accolades like All-Pro, outright voted to a Pro-Bowl, being a top-5 or -10 player at their position, etc.

Just launched a small web tool called Easy Grades Calculator, it's designed to help students and teachers quickly calculate final grades, GPA, and test percentages.
No ads, no sign-up — just a clean, mobile-friendly interface that works right from your browser.
Useful for keeping track of scores during the semester or estimating what you need on your next exam.
Would love to hear what you think!

Thanks for the help.

I'd definitely say this was a solid draft. Shored up our Oline, got another great ILB and depth at RB & WR.
That was an excellent draft. We actually picked offensive linemen then too. Very good ones also. I wish we would draft like that again.

Neither of those guys pass blocked well. Iupati was particularly bad at it.

They were bulldozer run blockers and not as bad at pass blocking as you claim. They were better than some of our current linemen.

That was a rather weird stretch in the draft room from 2006 through 2010 where we pretty much got what we wanted in the draft, where the fan consensus matched the FO's. At least from what I remember.
Vernon Davis 2006
Patrick Willis 2007
Michael Crabtree 2009
Mike Iupati 2010
Anthony Davis 2010
2008 was abysmal though lol. Would coulda shoulda hindsight pick instead of Kentwan Balmer at 29. We could of had Jordy Nelson or Calais Campbell or DeSean Jackson or Jamaal Charles :)
