Juron Criner = Arizona (not AZ State) and I suspect he will go a bit earlier.

I want this kid, said it before.

Very interesting to see where you've got some of these guys. We'll see how close you turn out to be once the combine takes place this week. Good luck, my friend!

(One small spelling note - Weeden instead of Weedon)

what's your big board look like OTC?

In comparison to some of MadDog's slots, here a few higher/lower on mine:

Higher:
Alshon Jeffery, South Carolina
Trumaine Johnson, Montana
Amini Silatolu, Midwestern State

Lower:
TJ Graham, NC State
Jerel Worthy, Michigan State*
Brandon Thompson, Clemson

I actually agree with you on those.
Just a quick take please Maddog on these two wrs:

Devon Wylie and Ryan Broyles

--Bigger impact in NFL, better suited for the 49ers, higher ceiling??? Thanks a lot.

I'm not ready to call Thompson a first rounder yet, nor do I think Graham did enough to make himself a top 100 pick. I think he still goes late 4th round at the earliest. Currently projecting him as an early 6th rounder with riser potential if he hits the low 4.3's to be a late 4th or high 5th rounder. Jacoby Ford shredded his 40-time and still only went in the 4th round.

Good job! Also, Kendall Wright has an "i" in it.

Funny, but true in some cases. For instance, in my draft grading, you would see a flip between Zach Brown and Bobby Wagner, who I think is one of the best players in this draft. However, Brown is going to burn up the turf this week in his forty, and people will go nuts over him. The problem: he is simply not a great football player. He is a great athlete, ala Taylor Mays.

And, even though I am giant OSU homer, I think Mike Adams is going to get drafted WAY too early. I don't grade him as a first rounder, but that height and length is going to hook some sucker.

My gut currently is telling me that the Chargers will be the suckers. I had a feeling they would be the idiots to think Larry English was worth a first round pick, and I once again have a feeling they will be the ones to reach for a player -- whether it's Adams or someone else.

MD, whats the knock on Jordan White? He's been phenomenal the past two years, but he's projected as a mid-late round prospect. He doesn't have exceptional size and he'll probably run in the 4.4s, but he plays faster and separates better than most.

Here is what I think will be the book on White: Great college player, but was he simply a system WR, benefitting from the high-octane WMU offense; will he check out medically at the combine? Those knees are going to get a long, long look. Not exceptional size. Average speed. Has he hit his ceiling, or is there more upside?

Great, great college player, but I think there will be a lot of skeptics whether he can be highly productive at the next level. Probably a 4th to 5th rounder.

Funny. Keep dreaming.

Surprised not to see Foles in the top #100, particularly with the fact that many QBs are overdrafted.

Not a very good Senior Bowl week. Probably a 4th rounder. Very disappointing. Should be a much better player than this.

Ole Miss tackle, Bobby Massie (not Massey).

Other than that, solid as always.
Thanks. Corrected.

This is a team that needs to start hitting on their high draft choices, because the window is closing soon. The Larry English pick still mystifies me in that slot.

Dinner on me. Thanks.

Like both guys. Wylie has some quick feet, could be solid number three in the slot and gives great value as a return specialist.

Broyles is a football player. Guys will be faster, bigger, stronger, but this kid understands the game. His health will be huge, probably a PUP player in his first year, but a team with a 5th rounder may want to take a serious look.

I'll say that Broyles ends up the better receiver, but Wylie will add a nice special teams value to a club. He has NE Patriots written all over him. Wylie has a bigger ceiling due to being a more explosive player.

As for the Niners, either guy would be a great option as a mid-rounder. Just depends on what the team needs after free agency, who is on the roster, etc.
