I didn't see Jeff Maehl sign anywhere.
Seems like he'd be a nice pick up for us since one of our undrafted WRs already went down with a serious injury and Crabtree is out.
I really don't understand why Maehl hasn't gotten more interest from teams. He was a very productive, quick, and crafty WR in college.
Houston Texans, they grabbed a few of the top udfa wr's.
I could see him doing pretty well there....

ST's guy at best, but just camp fodder. No chance at making the team. Good enough in college, but not going to do anything in the NFL. Small, weak, and slow corner.
(5-8 1/2 187, 4.58, 10 reps of 225, 32 1/2-inch vertical)

Deunta Williams' leg must be really messed up. Kid was a 1st/2nd round talent and still hasn't signed as a UDFA.
Sad.
Sad.

Obviously its not fully healed yet. I didn't say sign him. I said its a sad story.
I just read he's taking a year off football to concentrate on rehab, so he's not really even in UDFA pool. He didn't even sound very confident he'd make it back at all.

Hope he can recover and at least get a shot with someone maybe next season

Update on Deunta Williams that I found. He will not play football this year, his injury was that bad.

Quote:One former UNC player who will not sign a free-agent deal is safety Deunta Williams. Williams, who broke his right leg in the Tar Heels' Music City Bowl win over Tennessee in December, will sit out the 2011 season to rehabilitate his injury, he said on Tuesday.
