For the haters who think we've failed at every pick... jump in a failboat. Right now our draft is mimicking a Bill Parcells draft, and no surprise since Baalke is a pupil with Parcells. Rd1: as explained multiple times we didn't want this pick and got stuck with it, that being said we picked the #2 rated OLB by allot of scouts and even the big Tuna himself... who drafted Ware, Canty, Ratliff and Spears in one draft. He knows his DL/Rush linebackers. Rd2: Kaepernick. Regardless of your view of boom or bust potential, this is Jim's guy and what every team that was in the bidding for JH when the coaching carousel began was hoping for... a QB coach with a track record of success to select his own QB. We got both, lets be happy and move on. Obviously Stanzi wasn't that impressive if he is still on the board, but allot of fans would be singing a different toon had we waited and just landed him, which in hindsight would now be a reach. Rd3: Again not sexy to the draftniks, but Parcells and other services had this guy going in round 3. How is that a reach? Oh because Mayock made one 5 second comment after he was drafted only because he didn't fit into Mayock's big board. Rd4: Kendall Hunter... Depending on who you listen to he was considered the top if not one of the top change of pace backs, perfect fit. Some believe second round value that we got in the 4th. But haters gonna hate... Doesn't anyone get that when draftniks get showed up by teams, they are egomaniacs and of course will talk smack??? It's their job to set up a fictitious board (based off the same internet research we do) and then discuss reaches and value picks for television entertainment. Bill Parcells wasn't that great as a GM. He pretty much had all of his success with Belichick carrying his @ss around.

He basically laid the foundation for the current Cowboys team which has some talent...

Sure it does. How talented is Romo if he never won a playoff game?

You can't say that about every position and obviously Ware is a home run selection, but ultimately we judge coaches and GM's off of post season success. Parcells has very little of that without Belechick. Gotta give credit to him to for hiring him but it's like Ditka and Buddy Ryan.

So it was Parcells fault that Romo can't handle a field goal snap? Parcells has a track record of taking crappy teams and infusing them with talent through the draft. He can't physically go out there on the field and play.

It's a QB driven league, the coaches and GM gives the team the tool to be successful its up to the players to get it done.

The haters are like the clones on TV who are upset when people disagree w/their boards. Kiper/Mayock & company are protecting their jobs by shooting down anyone who disagrees w/their opinions. None of them ever had Tom Brady, Justin Tuck, Pierre Thomas [Better than $$$ Bush], Marques Colton, Wes Welker, Danny Woodhead, Greg Jenning and many more on their radar.

Will other teams have better drafts than us - sure! Will other teams have worse - Sure!

I think we are seeing a draft that will pay huge dividends in 2 years.

67-76-1 as a head coach w/o Belichek and 1-4 in the playoffs.

He definetily makes teams better than before and has found alot of great players, but he's not the GM you guys are making him out to be.

Miami has one playoff loss since he took over and they only got that because of the Wildcat.

Dallas has 0 playoffs wins since he build that team.

Where's the greatness that you guys speak of?
